Great game. Played Raiden Fighters Jet on arcade cabinets in the past, and still love the game. The games are ported over very well, with different control settings to map how quickly your ship moves, different difficulties and even a stage select. Having a shoot-em-up with your ship mapped to your finger is such a great idea and controls so intuitively that I have no idea why other publishers haven't ported over similar titles. My only dissapointment with this app is the lack of Raiden 2.

I was wondering if the devs can add an option to flip the dpad controls? Right now they assume that the screen is vertical while the controller is kept horizontal. But when you have a portable console, you can turn the whole console vertically, only then the dpad is turned to and the controls end up flipped. So pressing up moves you left and so on. Not convenient.

Same as the original arcade machine. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add a slow-mo mode or an infinite lives mode because we all know this game was designed to be incredibly tough to eat up all your nickels/quarters. So it would just be nice to be able to finish all the levels instead of starting at the beginning each time.

The package is pretty good, having four great shmups for not very much money, but it does need some polish. Sound is awful, with the menu being really loud and annoying, and in game sound being super quiet. The menus are very ugly and the controls could use a little tweaking (sensitivity is off on all of them). Having Android specific features like immersive mode, cloud saving, Android TV support, and controller support would be nice too, but I doubt that they'll be coming.

The game itself works good, but when you first start the game, the touchscreen doesn't work correctly until you're almost about to die, and that's extremely annoying. I doubt anything will be done to fix the issue, but it would be nice. I would rather play the old school games that I buy them outright, and it eliminates the micro transaction scam. Micro transaction upgrades on modern shooters is not worth spending over $100 for 50-80 percent upgrades.

Excellent 16 bit shooter. Very fun and awesome. Absolutely fast paced gameplay that keeps you on your toes the whole time. I really hate how these purists call the new control scheme bad because it's "too fast" and "not like the original", failing to see how much precise the new controls are, allowing you to more easily dodge bullets. I'd prefer not to be handicapped by the slow movement of the original control scheme, especially if God forbid it got me killed.

The game does not pause when you take your finger off the screen. That's a problem. The ship's defenses are terrible. You die way too quickly. Tons of bombs should be on hand, not the tiny amounts available. There is a delay when you slam on the bomb button. In game like this, you want to use bombs often and plentifully. I was about choose refund in the play store, but I think I'd rather keep it. I used to play one of Raidens in the arcade. Was tons of fun. This is semi fun. The games last update was in 2017. Today is August 7th 2018. The game is designed for a 16:9 screen aspect ratio. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9, which has an 18:9 screen aspect ratio. The game does not fill the screen. There are pillar bars at the top and bottom. Please fix as much for new generation screens asap. Lastly, writing this review was difficult. The sreen scrolled wrongfully. Was twitchy. Godspeed everyone.

Excellent port of the Xbox 360 version. How the setup is very simple and easy to grasp. The Fast Touch feature is one you have to play around with, depending your feel for the game. I agree with a few people who reviewed it, Raiden 2 should have been included with collection. This is one game you need to get if your a fan of the Raiden series.
