Barometer Plus app measures air pressure and altitude using your device's built-in barometric pressure sensor.Because air pressure changes usually indicate a weather change, you can use this app to monitor and predict short-term weather variations.
People suffering from migraine, headaches, or joint pain can monitor how barometric pressure impacts their mood.
Fishermen can monitor the atmospheric pressure for right-time fishing.
You can use the app for virtually all outdoor and indoor activities, such as climbing, trekking, hiking, and even stair climbing.
FEATURES:
• The app contains a barometer and altimeter with a personalization graphic in classic analog style. It also displays the current temperature and humidity.
• Display barometric pressure (sensor value) or mean sea level pressure (MSLP - value used in weather forecast services or stations).
• Units support for pressure: mb, inHg, kPa, atm, Torr, psi, hPa, mmHg. Units for altitude: meter, feet.
• Calibrate the barometer using altitude/location from the GPS. Calibrate the altimeter using the nearest airport information/METAR, or manually enter the QNH of the nearest airport. Offset sensor output value.
• Measure the height (building/mountain/hiked/climbed) using the "Relative Altitude" feature (can be enabled in the app's Settings).
• Notification about pressure change. "Notification custom rule" for you to define how and when the app sends notifications.
Notify when air pressure changes indicate that extreme or worse weather may occur.
• "Pressure Tracking" and "History Graph" for atmospheric barometer monitor.
• "My Area" allows you to define your frequent stay places, and the app tracks air pressure with location data.
• Export history to CSV format.
• This app is the digital version compared with an aneroid or mercury barometer and can be adjusted to MSLP with additional features.
CUSTOMIZABLE:
You can change your barometer/altimeter appearance with:
• Seven different housing colors.
• Black, white or blue disk background.
• Four different app backgrounds.
• Three different types of needles.
• Marker needle for easily monitor.
• Dark or light widgets theme.
NOTES:
• App only works on devices with a barometer sensor.
• Short-term weather forecast (12-24 hours) with icon on the disk was based on local pressure sensor data, which may not be 100% accurate.
• Each time your device reboots, open the app for tracking with the "Exact update interval" feature work.
• You may take the phone/tablet far away from computers, cables, and other magnetic sources to get accurate results.

First it looked very nice. Working as I thought fine and the graphics good. Besides the phone, also installed it on my tablet, which also has the barometer feature. But then compared the result with our local Airport atmospheric pressure official figure. This app showed -6mmHg lower. The deviation is huge. Installed other app that gave me immediately the right and accurate reading. Conclusion: This app needs more rework. It provides erratic data which is useless. Uninstalled both devices

The barometric readings are reliable and the app is easy to use. The app took some time to set up, since I choose to have it display in the familiar inHg units instead of the international units. To apply a correction factor, I had to convert to mB because those are the units allowed for adjustments.

I check the barometric pressure against my weather app. It seems to be accurate. I'm trying to compare it to a record of my Arthritis Pain. I'm just starting, so no conclusions yet. I'm willing to bet there's a market for an app that automatically charts some combination of 1-10 Pain scale, humidity, temperature... things that affects Arthritis Pain. If you live long enough, you'll get osteoarthritis.

The best features for me are the tracking and the histogram. I have chronic conditions that are affected by pressure so it is great to e able to match up the data to my daily health notes.

Accurate, uncorrected barometric pressure useful to any engine dyno operators like myself or racers tuning at different tracks etc. Great app. I love it and appreciate this app. Terry

I really like the app. I do think it would be great to see an arrow going up or an arrow going down next to the digital barometric pressure to see when it is dropping or rising. I tend to get headaches when it's cloudy and would like to look at the arrow when I noticed my headache coming on to see what the weather is doing.

I'll have to assume the barometric pressure is correct, but the altimeter is wildly off. I'm in SW Florida and it's saying my current elevation is over 70 feet. There is nowhere 70 feet above sea level within hundreds of miles unless it's up several stories in a condo or office building.

I love this app. Very accurate if you give location permission. It's got a great informative widget and a lovely app interface with aks just like the real thing. Well done Devs. Full version purchased to give a little love even though the fee app is good to go
