It's not that bad besides all the monetization but I have found someone on this app before years back. My main problem is that now the app is full of people in different countries all over the world changing locations to appear as if they're in the same city as you. I have been getting so many matches from people in Kenya to the point where I have to ask people where they from or if they're in my city before texting. Please fix this there's no reason for this seriously.

One of the better dating apps. It doesn't aggressively force you to spend money for the app to actually be useful in meeting people. There's no guessing or aggressive swiping required to match with someone. Off the bat you're able to see who is liking you, and you can even chat without having to like each other. It makes matching and meeting far more convenient than the likes of Tinder. This App also has more features it seems. Overall, you get more bang for your buck here without having to pay up a single buck. Great app. Recommend it as a good alternative to Tinder.

UPDATE: TWO YEARS LATER- App still barely runs. But after the most recent "update," it is now completely impossible to open the app. I start it up and get stuck on the stupid, "YOU HAVE XXX AMOUNT OF MATCHES!" Which endlessly pops up, allowing no further interaction with the app. Just don't waste any time or money on it. It's been bad for so long and STILL has consistent issues.

I gave the app a try, general meet experience was eh. Got some numbers, met some people, whatever. But the issue is that I bought $7.99/week premium couple months ago, I then tried logging into my account one day, poof, not there. So guess who has to create a new one and has non of the matches anymore. Oh but wait, they're still charging me $7.99/week and I have no way to cancel it.

While it's a normal dating app like any other. it is incredibly frustrating editing and adding photos to the profile. It will auto assign the order of the photos and there is no way to do this manually. and they have the gall to watermark YOUR PHOTOS. Also they this literally badoo. Not as in one app is copying the other, but it is literally the same server and UI ,just different names. I can change info in one and it will populate in the other.

The app seems to work well most of the time. One thing I'd really like to see is that they settle on a name- badoo, hot or not chat and date-- pick one! I also hate when my settings for searches suddenly change! Then all of a sudden (I live in central Massachusetts) I'm getting responses from New York and New Jersey! That wastes a lot of my time! I can find where to adjust the settings , but I cannot find a place that will lock the settings as you're suggesting.

I know that this is created by the same company, Badoo, but please, we only need one Badoo and not a complete duplicate, especially with an unpleasant experience such as this; No way to add a location filter on the swipe section, and a location filter that doesn't even work on the explore section. I would like to see these areas improved on at least one of these apps.

This app is starting to have some serious issues. Currently I can't like/dislike more than 4 profiles without having the app crash on me. Still getting flooded with profiles of people from Cleveland, Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and other locations that aren't where I live and it makes it considerably tougher to find people in my area
