Unless you've been playing for years, don't. Pay to win keeps getting worse. If you don't pay, you don't win. I get it takes money to keep a game going, but this is getting dumb. Same stale graphics from 10 years ago. There are too many confusing ways to upgrade heroes. World event crashes and is filled with bots.

Not a fan of the advantage given to those who'll pay, but I understand. It's definitely nice to actually be able to play a game longer than a month or two without paying a small fortune. This game achieved a great balance. A refreshed design would be nice. The game itself is starting to look dated and clearily doesn't matter to the developer. The ads are getting more intrusive with every update as well.

Not too bad at first, they offer a lot of easy ways to log in daily and collect gems, and there's always something you can be doing usually. The only problem is that late game belongs to the big spenders, especially given how much they support it with their events. The gameplay is decent, the art is quirky, but like any other mobile game, don't keep your Hope's up for the end game. All in all 3/5 stars. Not bad at all.

The game itself isn't bad, but don't expect to ever get an above average team without paying. Maxing out skills and talents without paying is impossible. I've spent too much money for my taste for what I paid for to be considered only alright a few months down the road. You can a year later buy those things for just a few bucks, but that is only because the new best thing is out and cost hundreds. Seriously if you don't want to spend lots of money to be good don't even bother downloading.

Love it. Great f2p game but it gets a little unfair the higher you go. Would give a 4.5 star but Google doesn't let me do that. Great job with the regular updates and new, insane heroes. Oh and get rid of the pop up ads. They are so friggin annoying. Update: 4 star now. Way too many ads. Idk what has happened with this game. It used to be so good! Update: And it's down to a 3 star from me... Way too many ads and now it's fairly difficult to compete against p2p players. New heroes are way too op.

This game used to be so great. Spending money in this game used to be if you wanted to boost, but now it's an essential to get half of the heroes that are still good. Every update adds a new difficult to obtain currency for upgrading heroes or a new talent that costs $100 to get. Every new update guarentees a new hero that always makes an older one obselete. The amount of gamemodes now is too much, and most of them have the same concept. They add new things before fixing existing problems.

Not perfect, but a somewhat addicting strategy/resource-building game. Like most of these games, it's setup to make you want to spend money, but that's not necessary to have fun with it. -- It's s been 7 years since i wrote that review, and I'm still playing this game. They've continually added new content to keep it interesting, and seem to have found the perfect balance in the in-game purchases that you do not feel hamstringed if you don't spend money but are rewarded if you do.

Update: game now allows you to flip your phone! Now the charging cord is in the place while playing the game. Two stars for this improvement. Edit: game does not automatically update. Have to do it manually. Game went into maintenance mode just as I was collecting rewards. Lost them. Customer service tells me I not be awarded missing items. Very bad support...
