Learn to read sheet music and improve your sight-reading skills with Music Tutor. Develop your speed and accuracy in reading sheet music by identifying music notes in timed sessions. Choose to practice between treble, bass and/or alto clefs for a duration of 1, 5 or 10-minute sessions. Music Tutor helps with ear training and practicing your listening (aural) skills. During the practice session, every note is displayed along with the sound of the note (this feature can also be turned off if not necessary).

After each test, you can review your mistakes and see your progress. There is also an option to set the range for practice, making this an ideal app for both beginners and advanced students. Music Tutor also supports Solfège (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si or Ti) and German note names.

Music Tutor also comes with a sheet music reference chart for treble, bass and alto clefs that you can use to quickly grasp the names of all the notes. As you use Music Tutor, you can keep track of your progress and improvement using the Stats page.

Great. This app has helped build my sight reading on piano until now it is doing less. I would like it to be able to display several notes at a time, like a moving staff with changing clefs, so that I can read ahead, when I am playing a note I am already seeing and anticipating the next note, would help me better. I hope I was successful in expressing my desire and I hope you look into this.

Music Tutor is a great app. It has helped me improve my sight reading. The app would be even better if it would let you identify noes in different key signatures. Just a suggestion! Thanks fornthe great app.

Great app. Simple and to the point. Has helped me memorize the notes quickly. Would like to be able to set which notes to be tested on. Would like to be able review which notes took the longest to answer in addition the actual mistakes. Would be nice to see stats of which notes I have the most trouble with. Perhaps this is already being tracked in the background and each test is adjusted accordingly?

Overall great app and has done wonders for my sight reading. My only real complaint would be that it's not practically possible to adjust the note range because the sliders are useless. I've had to wipe all app data more than once just to get it back to defaults and now I just don't even try anymore.

Tremendous help. For many music students, learning to read notation is often tedious and even a little difficult. This app doesn't change that but does make the process go a little smoother. The app itself works without bugs, is easy to use, and doesn't have too many ads. What ads are there doesn't interfere with the actual game itself.

Greatly improved my sight reading skills! Although there are ads, they're not that intrusive and interrupt with my learning. But there is one thing, before practicing you should atleast have atleast a little bit knowledge of the keys and their placements on the lines and spaces because the practice session can be quite challenging for beginners. To do that, click the notes reference button and try memorizing the placement of the notes. Overall, Very nice!

This app is awesome. It is great if you are talking a piano class. You can customize the range of notes and whether or not flats and sharps are used, so you won't get too far ahead of your class. The only improvement i could see is a midi interface so you could actually use it with your keyboard, but that's a pretty big ask, so 5 starts for sure! Well done!

This app is simply awesome! I'm a beginner to sight reading I've only taken two music clases and my teacher assigned me to learn some notes which I was having a hard time doing until I found this app!!! It really feels like playing a game. Not only does it make learning easy and fun the excersice itself but the app is incredibly user-friendly and simple to use on the settings you can customize the notes the time and much more. This sounds like an ad but I'm just really a fan of this app!!!
