Used to work really well, but now out of nowhere, cropped videos are getting saved as mpeg4 instead of mp4, which makes them unsuitable for my needs. There are no settings to change the format or anything.

Wow! This is really a good app. If you are the type that do a lot of screen records on your phone, then I would say this is the app you can use to reduce the the storage capacity of the screen records. What I do is that, I use the crop feature on this app, it works just fine. But though, when you do the cropping, the clarity of the video would reduce to some degree. But still, it's still okay

I'd been using the app for over a year. It used to be an easy and super useful app (I used mostly it to compress video memes so that I could send them in Discord). But sometime a few months ago the app stopped working correctly (compressing a video would take an infinite amount of time and never finish, new videos I downloaded wouldn't show up, and the UI became super slow.) Even reinstalling the app didn't fix these problems. Unfortunately, all I can do is uninstall and find a better app.

Fails because of the cluttered ridiculous file selecting method. I just wanted to compress an older video of which I know it's location. But no fike picker or directory search. You are presented with some kind of collections which I can't figure out. I have one MOVIES folder but it shows me dozens of MOVIES directories, all with just some of the files. I always wonder what's so hard to just implement the default devices file manager for selecting files??

Used to be an excellent App. I paid to remove the adds since when everything has gone downhill. It refused to complete it's task . Files disappear, the app crashes. . I'm just about to uninstall . I have no idea what they have done but no menu options are now available , just a list of my past compressed video's. Conclusion, what was good , now a totally useless app.

It is not recommended. Maybe something wrong. I installed the app, tried to 🗜 compress a video. Once you have selected your output it jump out of the app. After 3mins the percentage on my notification ain't moving. Nothing on the app to show it is compressing a video 📹. I had to cancel the action. At the moment I have to Uninstall. No gonna lie it easy to use but it ain't working on video 📹 🗜 compress.

Broken. Will not perform compression since major v4 update. Select video, select size/comp level, it jumps to "completed" with only play or share button, just views the original video. No new file created, no compression, nothing. Had to restore app to v3.7.04 in order to get the app to work again, and v3.7.04 works just fine. App should go into compress mode with a note it's working in the background. Too bad, was a nice app, updates look good, but V4 is 100% broken on Pixel 2 Android 11.

It has one important disadvantage. I cannot search for the video I want to reduce by looking for the correct folder. It offers me folders and if it is not there, bad luck. Equally to avoid that problem, I cannot find the video somehow else and then say "send to Video compress" So, if the app doesn't find it, I am screwed and will not be able to use the app. I.e. I cannot compress a video which came through bluetooth. It happens quite often in similar ways.
