I tried Midtown Comics, but when you order, they only allow you to provide one address. In my case, my billing address was different than my shipping address. So they sent me an email, notifying me my order was being canceled. And asked me for a correct billing address. Then, they asked me to go to the app and update? I went to the app and again the order process only asks for one address.

Midtown is great and has amazing prices, but man, this app experience is overwhelming disappointing. It's clunky, unresponsive, and the search function is so poor. Hard to find what you want and there are severe limitations to filters. Wow.

I started shopping with the app because it didn't have the inhospitable quirks that the website did, but now the new build just brings them all over. When you click an item for details, you shouldn't have to re-scroll the whole list again because backing out throws you to the top. It's like this company paid someone to redesign their site, and regardless how crummy the design is they keep using it out of stubbornness so they don't have to admit it was a bad investment.

"20% off your first order" doesn't work. I had sale items in my cart 9-10% off and one item at full price. The 20% discount did not apply to the order (as stated), override any of the sale items, or apply to the full price item. When I went to place the order, the app errored out and deleted everything in the cart.

description of my experience, I type in a comic series, loading took about 31 secs to show back issues with the # of comics in that option. I clicked and 54 secs of loading, it shows the publisher of this comic. Again, I clicked on it, so 1 minute and 17 seconds waiting for it to load, the list of comics show up, I click the add to add to cart and a pop up comes up with nothing on it, I clicked away and more loading happens and then nothing was added to my cart. that's were in at now.

If you're planning to download this to take advantage of the "20% off your first order" promotion they advertise on their site, don't bother. The discount only applies to full-price items, which aren't very common, and I was also informed that it only applies to a single item on the order, which is very deceptive. The app is also very cumbersome to use, as many others have pointed out.

Ordered $320 worth of comics and supplies from Midtown over a two week period. They made a mistake in my second order, sending me the wrong comic boxes. Told me I would need the packing slip to remedy the situation. I informed them that I didn't save the packing slip, I already had two copies of my receipt of purchase. I was told to write an email but without the packing slip there's nothing they can do. They have no documentation stating this as their return policy. No help, buy elsewhere.
