Similar in intention and basic functionality to chessify. Converts a picture or a captured chess position image from an electronic book into a FEN, then allows its analysis with an engine. Seems reliable. Chessify is older and offers more features. Worth installing and tinkering with it. I think it is a great start.

I get three scans daily that are enough for double-checking my solutions on paper daily doing the step method.

The app prompts you to take a picture of your chess board and crop it to just the board. Each time I did so, then pressed to move, it showed an ad before saying there was an error with the picture. There is no option to just use a default board and manually move the pieces to match. Just seems like a scam to get free ad views.

This could be a nice app. Unfortunately it is blighted by too many ads. Please also allow users a choice of colours. Also it isn't clear whether the analysis just shows the best move or can be made to show the relative values of other candidate moves.

Useless. The app is literally two buttons that do absolutely nothing. No reaction whatever I click. It doesn't read my media library and doesn't open camera.

Randomly makes white pieces black and vice versa. No way to force it to be correct. Randomly flips board 180 degrees, with no way to correct.

it shows the best move hint before the analysis page. This kills the joy of thinking about the solution yourself in the analysis page.

It used to work great but now appears to hang Not sure if it is too popular and the server overloaded, or what
