This is a great game, and a good implementation with two minor gripes: 1. In one-player mode, I always begin as the first player, always. It would be better if that was variable. 2. The pass button is right where my thumb is for scrolling the board, and on several occasions I've passed on accident while just trying to look around. I would recommend a "confirm decision" step for this and other times when I wasn't quite ready to commit to my placement. Otherwise a great little game.

The campaign is surprisingly challenging. The AI less so, but clever enough to make you pay attention. It is true to the original game and I am glad that I got it. Is it too late to ask for an update that includes the expansion, with it's swans and moats and secret doors? 😉 (Edit May 2021:) Hooray, now several expansion rooms are available! Also, the new artwork is a great improvement. I'm seeing a few rooms are still missing though. For example, the ballroom, hedge maze, and propylaeum.

The app is a great extension of the already fantastic board game. Easy to use and plays just like the real game. I love the added challenges in the app, though some are pretty dang tough, especially with a bit of luck needed in getting the right tiles/bonus cards. Overall I love it and hope they add more to it in the future.

This game seems okay at first but it is buggy af. Don't ever go to zero coins or the computer will only ever get gold on its turn when you should get it (even if it already has 60+). The computer players always seem to know what cards are in your hand and will alter how much they charge accordingly. there are levels of the campaign downright unbearable unless you happen to get ridiculously lucky every single turn. I only gave two stars because if fixed it would be really fun. As is, sucky.

if the game had a way to send bug reports, it would improve the application immensely, like to 5 stars. I learned the hard way that if you hit restart level in the pause menu, it doesn't refresh the utilities deck, and I have encountered other bugs including one involving an empty index. It's a fun game, just... the bugs make it frustrating.

I bought the game at a discount and for the money I payed it's perfect. The only issue is that on a phone it's hard to see the numbers and icons on the tiles without zooming. If I had bought the game at full price, I would have been disappointed. It is a really great game but hard to play on a small screen.

Extremely fun game! My only complaint is that it's missing a few key components from the official board game, such as swan tokens, secret passages, purple (bonus) cards and actual castles. Despite all that, if this game had an online multiplayer option, rather than having to pass around a device, I would give it 5 out of 5 stars!

the stars are for the board game which I love. the port could use some improvements. first of all, it needs UNDO button. or at least the ROTATE and BUILD shouldn't be next to each other! features like speed adjustments or starting order randomization. the UI is ugly and cheap. and prone to mistakes.
