Mightier helps children (ages 6 - 14) who struggle with their emotions. This includes kids who have a tough time with tantrums, feelings of frustration, anxiety, or even a diagnosis like ADHD.

Our program was developed by clinicians from Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School and is designed to create a fun and engaging way for kids to practice emotional regulation through play….and become Mightier!

Players wear a heart rate monitor while they play, which allows them to see their emotions and connect with them directly. As they play, your child reacts to their heart rate. As their heart rates go up, the game gets harder to play and they practice how to bring their heart rate down (take a pause) in order to earn rewards in the games. Over time and with routine practice/play, this creates “Mightier moments” where your child breathes, pauses, or uses one of their practiced cool down strategies automatically when facing real world challenges.

Mightier includes:

A WORLD OF GAMES
Over 25 games on the platform and 6 worlds to conquer, so your child will never get bored!

THE GIZMO
Your child’s visual representation of their heart rate. This will allow them to see their emotions and connect with them directly. Gizmo will also teach your child emotional management skills when they find themselves in extreme duress.

LAVALINGS
Collectable creatures that represent big emotions. These will help your child connect with their range of emotions in a fun, new way.

PLUS…..for Parents
● An online hub to access a dashboard of your child’s progress
● Customer support from licensed clinicians
● Tools and resources to help navigate your Mightier parenting journey.

Free trial is not long enough. I was charged without any kind of notification or reminder. I don't think it's actually helping my child. They won't issue me even a prorated refund. Tablet battery is garbage and dies overnight even if it's off.

I have one child with a formal diagnosis, and one without. They also each have very different emotional needs–Mightier works so well for both of them! We have now been using Mightier for two solid months. While it took us a bit to get in the groove of regular use, my kids now both LOVE Mightier and beg to play it! I am encouraged to see their progression with the games and how much more they now understand their capacity to control and regulate their progression via their heartrate. We truly love this app--such a win!

I only have had to recharge the heart monitor 3 times so far, and now the charger won't charge. It appears that one of the prongs is compressed in and will not retract back out. I am assuming this is the issue. I contacted customer service to see if I can get a replacement, especially since it hasn't even been 30 days. The rep was friendly, but i was told that they could not replace it because I must have damaged it after delivery. It is not damaged, it is a manufacturer defect. I am not happy!

Been using MIGHTIER for a few years now with kiddos who struggle to regulate their emotions and understand their body signals. My clients love it and look forward to learning. Some have purchased the program for home use and are making good progress implementing calming strategies. A good resource to use in conjunction with other strategies, depending on the individual needs of your kiddo. Good customer service, communication and support during the entire time. Difficult to use hardware/software combination, some responsiveness lags on this app (kids of today are used to fluid applications, unless this is part of lowering the heart rate and exercising control of emotion, but I did not read this as part of it's feature list). The parental app shows names with accents but this app shows name without accent -- why?

Program sounds like a good idea but implementation and technology a miss. It looks like they insist on the app to work only on their tablet in order to lock their customers in so that it is not as simple as uninstalling the app to unsubscribe and sell the armband directly. This is not that big of problem if not for the fact that they send you an low tech tablet that doesn't connect to the internet half the time. That just means that it is more likely the kid will not pick up tablet to play.

Garbage. The tablet that comes from the company is lower quality than a three generation old fire tablet. The application simply won't run with parental controls that in any way prevent my child's data from being stolen, and the only "help" documents are just copies of the instructions, with the admonition to follow them. I have followed the instructions. They are not working. I will be returning this device, and I will be reporting its quality inn my parenting groups.

I had my son download this app a few days before. Today he went to use it during a meltdown only to find he needed to login but no way to create an account. I downloaded it & was able to go to the website only to find out I need to pay for it before he can even try it. Great. I wish Parents magazine had said that when they mentioned it or even the app itself. I'm not even sure it can just be used on a phone. It may work but $30 to find out means I'm going to look around. Uninstalled.
