Do you find your watch's screen too bright, even at the lowest setting? Then Screen Dimmer is for you! The app allows you too set the brightness of your Wear OS watch to a lower level than you can achieve with the device settings, helping to prevent eyestrain.Note: Screen Dimmer requires Wear OS 3 (e.g. Galaxy Watch 4) or Wear OS 2.2 System Version H (e.g. Fossil Gen 3/4/5, Ticwatch Pro/E3). To check your Wear OS version, open the Settings on the watch, then go to System > About > Versions. (System Version is a separate entry.)
Note: The app applies a screen filter that acts as a dimmer to darken the screen. This requires that you grant the app the permission to display its filter on top of other apps on setup. The app will guide you through this process.
Note: The app will also dim the brightness of the always-on display (screen switched off).
