I think this game is very unbalanced. Story elements don't matter, easy mode doesn't seem to lower enemy spawns and is just about as difficult as normal, the and to last level is ridiculous, and the ending is horrible. Also this game is HARD, which i actually liked until enemies spawned like crazy every turn. I love the "kill 3 waves of enemies" missions,i hated all missions with a zone. Also pickups are so tiny and hard to see (watch)

Very fun and entertaining. You can pick up and play at anytime. I just read some other reviews and I disagree with "restarting the campaign" on characters being too weak. I waited until people were about to die of starvation before I fed them (Min maxed food.) Also with "one way to beat each level." Maybe a couple of levels, but I felt free to play with movable objects in different ways to change it up. I am only okay at these types of games and got 3 stars on all levels. I used no gold at all.

This game is excellent! I love the characters, I love the difficulty, heck I even like the tasteful inclusion of in-app purchases (not at all needed, but can save having to restart a whole round.) I also like that so-far, the chapters are not SO long that restarting is the worst thing ever, unlike other perma-death tactical games. Highly recommend those looking for a tactical game with some real challenge to it!

Pretty good actually. Some of the levels towards the end become borderline impossible to save the entire party but it was still a very enjoyable experience up to that point. I would recommend it if you like strategy type games where you have to figure out where to place people and have them survive the encounter.

-Fun tactics game. -Fairly short, but I think the concept was running out of legs by the end. -Had no problem with the difficulty, was able to perfect most levels. -Music was just fine, nothing to write home about. -Snes graphics where nice. -Zero rpg mechanics e.g. leveling, inventory management etc. -I could basically ignore the food mechanic, some more depth here might have been nice.

Great game, a tad too difficult even on easy and i wish there were more stages. If have preferred twice as many levels that were a little bit easier to beat. Nevertheless, it was good fun with great characters and a fun challenge. Important not: Played it with play pass, if i had to pay for every time I wanted to restart a turn i would've rated it one star.

The idea of the game and the mechanics are pretty cool, but the missions are just too difficult and unpredictable to be fun. And the "easier" difficulty changes absolutely nothing. I mean XCOM is harder than this, but it eases you into the difficulty. This is just bad design. For a paid game there is little content and polish

This isn't such a bad game. Previous comments mentioned the game was difficult, it is, but if you can't solve a level in 20 resets, then you're fully justified to uninstall. Is the game more like puzzle solving and less like tactics? Sure is. But, it's ok. It's the characters you want. And you want to figure out which boxes give you food. I enjoyed the simplicity and I look forward to more. I only took off a star for the shortness.
