I have loved this game a long time now, but the new update (6.0) killed everything I enjoyed. The speed boost from sponsor pads are randomized, meaning there is no longer the mild strategy aspect that came from picking equipment that helped support your stats, which they ALSO took away. I loved leveling up my stats, and the difference in the run, swim, climb, and fly stats made it so you had to plan for each race accordingly. Now it just feels like I'm playing a slot machine each race.

Excellent concept with with pleasant graphics. The interface is mostly intuitive (though it can get a bit cluttered). Ads are okay, though potentially disruptive, as they can cause app reset. Minimal reward for skill or progress. Content is overly repetitive. Most activities are all or nothing, leading to progress bottlenecks. Progress can require obtaining all in-game items, while some items are difficult to obtain without spending real money.

So close to perfect. There is a big BUT...You don't need to spend money to play and win in the beginning. Any one tiny purchase removes ads forever. No waiting on refreshing energy so play as long as you want... BUT in higher levels there are races you cannot win without spending $60 for the gadget to win. Very unbalanced matchmaking- should be an easy fix. I've played for a week unable to pass a level. I have to wait until the weekly theme change to be able to play again. Week wasted

Very fun and addictive but also very frustrating. When you watch an ad to get an extra perk most times it sends you straight to the play store by the end of the ad even if you tried to hit the X to exit resulting in no extras. What's worse is sometimes I'll complete a mission but when I go to claim the prize I'm suddenly "not connected to the Internet" and the work I just did is somehow just 'lost' in the gameplay. Not sure how much longer I'll want to play if this isn't fixed soon.

Pros: clean game play, no running out of energy (for the tournament road at least), and legendary gadgets are achievable through normal play. Cons: STEEP prices for gadgets if you want to go the monetary route ($60 for instance), it's easy to get stuck on a level because you're missing a legendary gadget (which also blocks you from being promoted in the tournament), and no way to reduce the obnoxious number of notifications being sent your way (including while playing).

Only reason I'm giving 4 stars it's that the game isn't really balanced that well. If you miss certain events it's almost impossible to get the gadgets for that event. Gadgets in general are really, really hard to come by and if you don't have certain gadgets you literally get stuck and can no longer progress. Other than that, love the game to pieces and can't put it down.

Update. 3 months later and I'm still stuck on the exact...same.... level. Talk about a horrible experience, Don't waste your time. Was fun at first. But, even after spending money, you get stuck on levels where everyone has the legendary gadgets but you.... And.. you're stuck playing the same 2 levels over and over and over... You go up a level, get your a kicked and then back down a level... Then repeat... Shame, had potential....

Fun game, but LOTS of ads...like, every 3 races. Buy the .99 deal removes this. The devs can't seem to decide if they want to show players what gadget they used last race or not; it switches from showing to not showing ever so often (after each update maybe). Some races really don't matter, a first place can get rewarded 100, whereas second/third can get 500. Took off a star just for these types of stupidity.
