The map is a little tricky to use on the app and I don't like that you have to stop the car where potholes are on the street just to pick up on the map of the app or get a picture, witch makes it unsafe. I also didn't like that when you reported the potholes on the map, nothing gets fixed and the potholes just keep getting bigger

Seems like the map function is frustrating many people. I have emailed the contact address to raise an issue before I decided to rate the app. I never even got a response. Great initiative, poor execution.

I reported three potholes expecting updates from the app. I drove past the first one I reported and found it fixed. Wondering why I wasn't notified, I went to check the app and found that even though one was fixed, all three was reported fixed. Two weeks later, the "fixed" potholes still remain. I believe this app capable of helping but it is currently very flawed.

App 1) wants tooo much personal detail, 2) preference is given to Discovery clients and 3) they want photos. Too risky whilst driving and ultimately it means you need to stop next to road, get out of car and snap a photo. Too much rigmarole, if you ask me.

The app does not show the correct street name when you try and pin the address. I click on President Fouche drive, the message says its Thrush Ave. I don't know where that is, but it's not where I clicked on the map that clearly says President Fouche drive.

This app is just a data collection exercise. Would give Zero if I could. I cannot complete registration without inserting my ID Number and consenting for them to use my data. Why do you need an ID number to report a pothole? Why can I not register without giving consent. It is a yes no option but they require a yes to continue... so frustrating

Not sure they are still fixing potholes. I have reported a few recently and the holes are still there. Also on the app I am not getting feedback if a pothole gets fixed. App is a brilliant idea. Don't let it fail!

I just found out that Discovery Insure, in conjunction with Dialdirect and the City of Johannesburg, has launched a program called the Pothole Patrol, which will monitor and repair potholes in the Johannesburg area. This is why they've developed the Pothole patrol mobile application. On March 9th, after downloading the app, I informed the city of a major pothole on Grayston Drive. And today, on the 13th, I saw Discovery repairing the same road. This has left me very impressed.
