Pull out your gym mat and get ready to do a series of movements that will stabilize and strengthen your core.
You’ll get stronger, more sculpted muscles and gain flexibility. You may also have better posture and a better sense of well-being.

If you are looking to strengthen your abdomen and pelvis as well as maintain good posture, then Pilates is for you. It also has a strong mind/body connection, so you may like it if you enjoy yoga but need a more intense core workout.

There is limited evidence to support the use of Pilates to alleviate lower back pain, improve strength, and prevent elderly people from falling. It has not been shown to be effective treatment for any medical condition.

Pilates is great for strengthening and toning your core and for increasing your flexibility, but it’s not a comprehensive strength building program. You will need to supplement it with some other exercises if you want to build up your arm or calf muscles. Talk to your trainer to see what would be best. And don’t forget your cardio!

Pilates involves precise moves and specific breathing techniques. It’s not for you if you prefer a less structured program. It also won’t fit your needs if you are looking for an aerobic workout.

Pilates can be very demanding, so start slowly. Instructors do not have to be licensed, so it’s best to get recommendations before selecting one.

Not too bad. It's not detailed enough to properly learn Pilates, but if you already know Pilates it will give you some routines to do. There are only 3 full routines, and one small sample one, there's no variations beyond that. There's better Pilates apps out there but you need to buy a subscription for the really good ones. This one will do for occasional home use.

This is the best of all the Pilates yoga apps out there. The free version is very good, however the paid version is outstanding. This is a developer who thought of everything when he made this app so much better than everyone else's. Support this developer so he makes more stuff

Customizable and easy to follow. This app even allows you to pause to read instructions if there is a new move you have not done before. There is a nice big timer counting down. I turned off the voice so a bell indicated when it was time to do the next move. Simple and straightforward so I can start my workout quickly. Every program includes a warm-up and cool-down. This app is the perfect work-out companion.

The animated graphics are not at all helpful when it comes to correct posture while actual doing the exercise. There is no button for the previous exercise if you by mistake press skip . There are a lot of instructions written below the. Visuals are powerful to convey the message so again a lot of improvement in animated visual is required. High chances of getting injured if doing at home.

good set of Pilates exercises, no a ads during workouts (only after, so far). Good explanation (written + animated cartoon figure). Downside: all exercises take 30 seconds by default, which is too little for some (cannot do "100" in 30 seconds). English is very good (almost perfect). Did not try out the countless customisation possibilities yet.

Good exercises. The grafics are more clear than in the previous version. Could improve telling for example during resting time to get ready few seconds before an exercise starts, informing while doing the exercise when its half the time, and by counting down the last remaining seconds of each exercise. Otherwise, it is well balanced and offers a complete spectrum of fitness workouts. Thanks! Keep it up!

Simple and easy to use. Love being able to check or uncheck some exercises that I'm not allowed to do. And that the exercises flow - all seated ones together and all standing ones together. Other apps have had me sitting then standing then sitting again with so much changing positions. Very happy.

Timer is buggy, ten seconds flew by in 2 so impossible to read instructions, got buggier still when i paused it. Instructions are in poor English, very lengthy, hard to understand, and they look like they were stolen from somewhere else since they sometimes suggest ending the exercise with a pose, which makes no sense given the exercises are supposed to be done one by one. Uninstalling, can surely find better.
