Has a pretty great selection, but lacking esential features. No way to filter, no way to make lists or keep track of things beyond read and unread, hard to search for things to read, annoying daily pass, way to unlock next episodes makes it top easy to accidentally swipe to the next one, etc. Such an annoying app. If there was any other option with as good a selection, I wouldn't use this one.

Great, but sometimes have to uninstall and reinstall due to weird glitches and none to slow loading speeds. Ink is expensive for how pricy episodes are. The option to play games for ink takes way too long, and you just spend money on the games anyway. The option to shop instead was nice, but those are a joke as they keep getting lower ink return every time, too. They even have shopping tasks where you spend over 100$ for just 20k in ink. But it has really good stories that make it worth it.

12.06.23 they keep increasing the cost without informing the readers. at the beginning of the year they said only new comics were going up in price. with the last update, all the comics I'm reading have gone up in price. no explanations at all, and the increase is significant. I guess they don't mind losing customers 🤷 edit 10.21.24 I just upgraded my phone to a pixel 9 pro and the app doesn't work with the new phone 😒😑 at all, it takes forever to load and when it does, I can't read anything

The ad system barely works. Every time I try to watch an ad to unlock an episode, the ad freezes or it finishes but doesn't let me exit out of it. I like the option to earn ink playing games, but sometimes it doesn't let me scroll down to see the options or it won't load sometimes. Great comics on there but I hate these problems.

It's a good app for comics but sometimes it has issues loading up the comics. It makes me feel like I'm taking a gamble when it comes to reading the comics on here. I've already cleared all my data as well as doing several reinstalls and it still won't go past the first loading stage for any comics.

The loading in the webtoons is horrible. I could be using wifi or my own internet, and I still have issues. I've been stuck on a new comic for 7 hours because after a certain chapter, it's not loading. All you see is nothing but a black background with the logo like some cheesy wallpaper. At least you can download comics and read them, right? No. It takes triple the amount of time to download a chapter. I can stream a show on my phone faster than I can read or download a chapter on this app

Using ads to view chapters doesnt seem to work half the time. bulk purchasing chapters is nice, but it's the discount normal fast pass used to have, and doesnt account for being caught up with a series. That's helping me to cut down how many webtoons I read, I suppose, though... Latest update seems to have taken away the ad option instead of fixing it. Already was pretty limited with three global "watch ad to read" per day. I love webtoon's model so much more but Tapas has some good exclusives

I love the COMICS on this app a considerable amount, but the app itself just keeps going downhill. First they take away the ability to watch ads for ink (which had me watching up to 30 ads a day, a feat which no other app was able to accomplish) and replaced it with an ad unlock that only worked on certain titles. Then they took THAT away, too! Now you can only unlock episodes that you were gonna get for free anyway, defeating the purpose. Not to mention the ads just kept getting buggier...
