I played this when is first came out and it was not properly balanced. The dev has made some serious improvements! I still feel it would be good to be able to keep cards for the next turn. Maybe with a penalty in the amount of fury the next turn. It would create some strategies and combos instead of being based on luck. The animations got even better. I'll definitely keep this one around for a while.

The game itself could be interesting but the developer mostly wants micro transactions. Hard = more hp and damage, you beat a level, everything gets "harder". The strategy layer is missing, there are hints of deck types but this is completely underused. The game has a "quest" system which rewards buying stuff in the shop or using the quick patrol (get good without paying) feature. It got one star for not forcing me to watch ads. No star for a good interface No star for gameplay

I played this game years ago and left a 1-star review because of how it was very micro transaction dependent. I came back because I read a response from the devs saying that the entire game was reworked. And honestly, they removed everything that was good- now the game lost the similarities with slay the spire, there's very little deck-building because it all resets after 10 levels, so you need to grind levels to farm equipment/upgrades. Everything you do has a chance to be boosted with ads. 🗑️

This game is ABSOLUTELY RIGGED ! You can only advance so far until you realize it's pointless to even continue playing . I've been playing for more than a week and only have about 200 defense. There's 2 or more enemies attacking for 500 to 1k per turn. Pay to win. I love the game and concept but horrible set up.

Has big potential, removing the micro-transaction spam especially after I have bought the game. Gets repetitive and frustrating quickly, with difficulty curves dependant on the few OP card combos. IMO condense every stage into 1 continuous Roguelike Choose Your Path Adventure Run, this will shift the repetition of enemies from a labourious grind to a warm-up on your warpath and facing them on new runs won't feel stale and the Current Equipment system will translate to flying through weak mobs.

When I was a kid, I would draw adventurers and the monsters that they would battle. I even made special attacks and attack and defense cards and put them on flashcards and would actually roll dice to determine the actions and outcome but cards also had fixed stats and such. That's all to say, I absolutely love this game! I started about 2 weeks ago and before this I was playing 2 other games for the last 2 years. Those have been set on the back burner for now. This game is amazing.

Very interesting game. I can see lots of passion put into it in some areas like having good customization for battles, and literally the opposite in other areas like that one "skill tree" with just one path, and letting me watch more than 10 ads in one run for huge upgrades. One change I'd ask for: And please fix the UI animations, because every time I press any button, I need to wait for 1-3 seconds before pressing again, and I just sit there spamming with my finger. I love hate the game.

Fun little game so far. Hoping a future "hero" is a necromancer to play as. The game reminds me of slay the spire and makes me wish you could also get interesting things like the relics in slay the spire to make a run more interesting. Sometimes when doing a run it is not uncommon to brick your deck just because you had say powerup equipment on, maxed out, but drew no powerup cards to make that build matter. Makes some runs frustraiting and less unique as you play considering it bricks.
