It's a fun game, the controls are simple, there's a variety of weapons and Armour you get to upgrade with an abundance of skills, it's easy to upgrade these weapons too if ur looking for simple and easy gameplay, there's plenty of enemies to kill, the art style is simple but nice, and on the side you even get to have monsters aide you in battle.

You can't go 1 minute with out some cash shop BS being shoved in your face. The game is way too easy. The hardest part is waiting forever for enough materials to upgrade anything. I do like the art style but that's definitely not enough to make me endure the BS. Also the shop prices are insane. Especially if you want another character.. its a shame really.

Devin Beaudua

Awesome idea for an ARPG Roguelike, but it falls way short. All the levels are the same layout from 4 choices, the combat is auto locking so you can't truly choose where to attack, so it just doesn't feel right. The armor/weapons look amazing on the characters,so if you just want to look cool and not really have anything to do, then this is the game for you. (Tried again 8 months later and now it's the same thing but with a ridiculous amount of IAP's)

I saw this game in the Play store and didn't think anything of it. It had only 2 stars, and it looked a bit boring. But I gave it a shot, and it's actually pretty fun. It lags when there are too many enemies in one room, and the amount of armor is a bit limited, but it's a fun little time waster if you need something on a long trip or you're waiting for something. I kinda wish we could get a transmog system, so if we are wearing mismatched armor, we can keep the stats while still looking nice.

Pretty decent. I don't like how difficult it can be to make sense of the battlefield full of bullets and enemies, though. And some weapons, like the slow spear that charges forward every 3rd attack, are actually a huge liability. I have settled on a ranged weapon after trying the sword, hammer, spear, and finally the cannon. But the core gameplay loop is entertaining enough, even if the meta is clearly stale. Smooth controls, but the basic attacks are automatically directed at the nearest enemy.

Cheddar Cheezit

Very fun, but heats up my phone to the point of discomfort to hold, and crashes and freezes frequently. A lot of bugs (including getting stuck in the floor during raids, lol) but the novel premise keeps me around. I also like the androgyny of Ace, the default player. You can see yourself in them regardless of your gender.

Early progression of the game is rewarding with multiple ways to strengthen your character. The dungeon system feels fun as do other unlocked elements. Once through all the core gameplay and to purple quality gear, the game hits a brick wall in terms of progression for gear and challenging but completable content. Events are typically cash only oriented. Rewards for spending are imbalanced and unappealing. Most gear sets are useless leaving players using one meta only changing weapons.

Archero meets Monster Hunter meets Made in Abyss. Derivative, and all of Archero's problems. Tons of MTX, an overwhelming amount of character upgrades, and repetitive levels. Characters cost 9.99 to 19.99 and give stat bonuses, costumes that give stat bonuses. One of the stat upgrades has a success rate, which is always a gross feature. The only reasons this gets three stars and not two, is the great art style and that Monster Hunter features are a good change to Archero's formula.
