What is it?
People who spend periods of time alone, spend time outdoors on their own or work in solitary conditions, can set this app to check in at a certain time of the day or night, or set a hourly repeating reminder.

If they do not check-in when prompted the app starts an escalation procedure and their emergency contact will automatically be sent an alert with their location indicating something might be wrong.

Who is it for?
This app is useful for people who live alone, work alone, spend time on outdoor activities or any situations that keep them out of contact with others for prolonged periods of time.

For instance, someone living alone can use the app to check in periodically by setting a repeating daily or hourly timer, or someone hiking on their own can set a hourly check in so if you become incapacitated an automated alert with your location will be sent to the nominated emergency contact.

In a nutshell, if you are incapable of responding to a reminder, the escalation procedure starts.

What is the escalation procedure?
The escalation procedure will first wake up the screen, sound and vibrate an alert and popup a full screen message.
All the user has to do is tap the "thumbs up" image and the app will sleep until the next scheduled time.
If the user does not respond the reminder will alert a total of 5 times before sending a SMS with a message and the location to the emergency contact.
