Works Great! Protects my son's hearing! Simple, easy to use. He just turned 3 and has known for a while how to turn up the volume. I got tired of constantly turning down the volume using my smart watch. I downloaded this app and just set a volume limit for music. When I receive a call, it is still my preferred listening level without readjusting the settings. As of 06/20/2024, App still works great and I like the look/ergonomics of the new update!

I like this app. It prevents the volume from going too high, but I need the app to prevent the app from going to low too; like ringer, alarm, and notifications. Too often I mess an important reminder or call because the volume has turned all the way down. This app doesn't prevent that.

I am so sad! This was by far my one and only favorite volume limiter for a few years noe. It worked flawlessly in the background and did not require any permissions such as notification etc. It also stopped the volume right at the limit and did allow it to get higher even for second. Unfortunately, now it requires notification permissions and lets volume jump to max level before limiting it back. I was so shocked when I noticed that change. What a pitty, it used to be perfect! 😭

Great app! I'd like to suggest an idea; if the app could check the surrounding sound and lock the volumes automatically to a different pre-configured profiles, for example the app would choose lower volume profile in a library or a meeting, and higher the volume to another profile in a noisy places like in the street or a coffee shop. that would be a new feature ever, I don't think there's such an app made so far

Been good so far as I can stop my phone from turning itself up when I'm watching a playlist when watching a movie on YouTube, but I've noticed that when Samsung wants to turn itself down, it overrides the volume limiter. If you can find away to override Samsung from doing that, then I will give 5 stars as I hate Samsung turning my phone down when I'm listening to music through my stereo.

Works like a charm! I just installed and setup the app, it seems to work perfectly. This is a good way around the limitation of Android which doesn't allow users to reduce the music limit under a certain point, which I find already way too high for someone willing to preserve their ears.

Awesome app! It lets me set the limiter to the speakers as well, although I wish that every time I restart my phone, it would automatically set the limiter. That way, the limiter would be set all the time.

Love this app. Currently use it for my toddler to control the little JBL he uses. He likes listening to music and sleeping while listening to white noise. This is a great app to limit his max volume. So even if he messes with the buttons on the speaker the volume will not go up.
