Nōtan je japonský designový koncept zahrnující hru a umísťování světlých a tmavých prvků vedle sebe do kompozice umění a obrazů. Symbol Yin Yang je příkladem této filozofie designu. Použití Nōtanu v umělecké kompozici je mocným nástrojem, který umělci pomáhá identifikovat světlé a tmavé části obrazu, které chtějí začlenit do svého projektu. NotanIzer to dělá 3 způsoby.

První funkce jednoduše rozdělí obraz při 50% jasu / tmy. Poté můžete pomocí posuvníku posunout tuto čáru a vylepšit tak detaily, které by jinak mohly být skryté.

Druhá funkce zobrazuje obrázek v paletě barev ve stupních šedi, takže se umělec může soustředit na strukturu a design obrazu.

Třetí je tříúrovňová verze. Rozdělí váš obrázek na 3 nastavitelné úrovně jasu.

Čtvrtá je čtyřúrovňová verze stejně jako 3úrovňová.

A konečně jsou tu nové úrovně. Rozdělí ji na sudé úrovně od 3 do 10.

A samozřejmě sdílejte svůj obrázek mnoha způsoby.

Bravo! Just what I was looking for! I will add another star if there is cutout that allows me to dynamically compose and crop the image, allowing me save multiple cropped outputs. 3/Sep/19:Revised review: After using it for a while I am really pleased with this app. By dynamically changing the 4 value controls I am able to come up with the best value compositions. I have decided to give that extra star. I have found other apps for cropping and rotating the result.

Incredible tool for rapidly assessing relative values within a photo. Aspiring artists take heed, however: you still need to do studies without any tools, because you must make *decisions* about what should be light and dark (not just what *is* light and dark). This tool makes it easier to start "seeing" the relationships of light and dark, though, and that's an invaluable starting point.

Whereas I ran into a problem with the app, I contacted tech support and was given a work around. Then a few days I was personally notified that a fix was to be found on Google Play Store. An excellent product and excellent customer service. ------------------ Original bug report --------- After the 10/26/19 fix, the import image button no longer works. That was the only way I ever used it. I have an LG model number LM-Q710TS.

I'm learning to oil paint. The most essential skill after drawing is discriminating where the value changes are because values define form and form is what identifies one object from another. Notanlzer assists you in defining upwards of 9 values (although 5 or 6 is plenty to 'turn a form'). Once you become accustomed to "seeing" value changes, you’ll not need to rely on this App as much.

I love NotanIzer. I used to convert photos to black and white and use that as my reference for painting. NotanIzer is the gold standard of reference development. When I decide on the number of levels I then develop my palette with the same number of values pre mixed. It works for "my brain"!
