there's a "bug" (I believe it's an intentional feature) where, when you try to use a gift card that won't cover the entire order cost, a message pops up saying "order total was incorrect". no matter how many times you try it, it pops up. gift cards with just a few dollars become useless when using the app, and I think it's intentional.

Had 6 $ left on a gift card. Tried to use the remaining balance 6 times for it to say "Your order total was calculated incorrectly" over and over. Even after closing the app completely, making a brand new cart, checking if the app was updated. Guess what allowed me to finally place my order without the error? Unselecting the gift card and only using my debit card to pay for the whole order. There's no way that bug is un-noticed. Scum practices on this app, just like in their stores.

Locations are consistently out of items you order. The store cannot reimburse y you for anything they fail to provide. Wait times are consistently incorrect. When the app "reimburses" you, it does it in the form of a reward. It has a very short window for use. You can only use one reward at a time, so when the store messes up multiple items, it almost always means free money to the store, and the customer is ripped off.

Very disappointed with the app. The app has your previous orders but it doesn't have actual receipts. It's impossible to confirm the price paid, time, and location. Sometimes they don't receive the order; it doesn't print. It's then impossible to prove you actually paid for an order. I emailed them about this issue and they emailed me my receipt as if that's helpful. EDIT: Now the app thinks I am "too far from location" so it won't process my order. So annoying. Fix this.

There's something strange with choosing a store in this app. This is happened to me a few times where I would choose The store location, place my order, and then it turns out that the wrong store was picked. Visually, UI wise, I wish the location was more front and center and not easy to miss at all, or triple confirmed somehow before placing the order.

high price and limit of 5 toppings in the app. i could understand if there were 50 options but there is a limit of 5 when there are only like 7 to choose from. It is ridiculous to spend time and money building features to limit users from picking 2 more items when thst could be saved money and allow you to reduce the price to a reasonable amount. The food is good though. The rating is mostly about the food which is worth the 5 stars.

Every time I want to order chipotle on the go, this app inexplicably needs to be updated, even if I just used it last week. It's not like anything changes either. Ordering is easy, but for some reason you can't order for less than about 20 minutes in advance even when the restaurant is empty, so unless you're planning WAY ahead, the app is pretty much useless. I'd love to be able to throw in my order and grab it 5-10 minutes later as I walk by, but I never think of it that far in advance.

update: 12/10/24: app usually won't work. first you gotta update, then it just says "something's wrong". thanks for that deacriptive error, and then it works but doesn't show enough info. origianl: let's me add 'rewards' to my order, then tells me at checkout I don't have any rewards. sometimes locks up or wigs out, requires uninstall and reinstall.
