So far I'm not impressed with this app. We bought the Akaso V50 to take with us on vacation in a few weeks. The camera is great so far. I finally managed to figure out the download/transfer but it isn't easy. After playing with it for an hour it seems you have to download all the pics/video's one at a time. I anticipate that after spending the day snorkeling, I will be spending my whole evening downloading & editing videos. In editing there are a number of items that do not work.

App won't stay connected to the wifi. After I've connected, it'll disconnect and won't connect back. I have to delete the device and re-add it. Then, when I try to do live view within the app to take photos or video, the screen on the app is dark, but I can see the controls. It's like I have a lens cap covering the lens on my phone when I don't . Trying to take photos, the app just freezes completely and stops working.

Wish I could give ZERO STARS!!! App freezes and closes when I try to download a file over the wifi feature. Newest version too!! P.O.S. IF/WHEN it does manage to download (copy) a file to device which is only 1 file then I have to reset and reconnect... It's blank. The file will show the length, but nothing is actually there. Nothing happens when I try to view the downloaded file.

The app is a great concept but in this case still needs alot of work. There's connectivity issues the app constantly freezes even if your only in the main screen. Not to mention anytime I do anything other than watch my playback when my camera is connected I get a pinwheel freeze. I love my camera and the app when it does work but it's apparent somethings still need to be worked out so it's smooth

Using this app has been one of the most frustrating app experiences. IMO the primary functionality of this app should be to extract the media from the camera onto your phone, but it does this very poorly. - The xfer speeds feel unreasonably slow for a WiFi connection (~100mb per MINUTE) - I'm forced to keep the app open the entire time or DL stops; Devs: plz implement a foreground service for the DL - Selecting to DL all files will re-DL _everything_, but I only want what I don't already have

After taking the videos I will ask for a refound of the product. The software crush on a lot of videos to make the "smooth" balance, the way applies the algorithm is slow and heat the camera. There is no Desktop Version and this makes you stay unconnected and without your cellphone available. Really not happy weather with the app or the product. Not recommended.

For the past two years, I have been using the Akaso Brave 8. However, after receiving the update for the SuperSmooth download, it consistently fails. Disappointingly, I have not received the necessary assistance to resolve this issue. In light of this, I recommend considering alternative action cameras besides Akaso.

I bought the EK7000, what a great little camera. Took me a bit to figure it out(getting old lol) but if I'd read the instructions more, it would have been easier for me. Now I know how to use this camera it's easy. I've only used it for videos so far of my bike rides. The quality is really good on it. Will look forward to taking pictures of my adventures. I'm also waiting to choose an external microphone as I've heard one is in the making. It's a great buy and at a great price
