It's annoying that they want you to buy a separate HR monitor. If my samsung watch is connected to my phone, it can't be that difficult to read the HR data. If the HR function is going to only be limited to apple devices, then the Tempo HR Monitor should be included in the price of the package. it makes no sense that I need to buy a separate HR monitor, just for these workouts.

There's really no difference between them and every other fitness company. They over promise and under deliver, they have "beginner" fitness classes designed by super fit people that have impossible exercises, and they provide very little guidance outside of programs that include those same classes. Extremely disappointing.

The app has gotten more stable in later iterations. Where is search? Literally every UI in the world has a search bar except Tempo either on the hardware or in the apps. I want to be able search for programs, trainers, exercises, body areas. Yes you can filter classes by that metadata but not the whole platform this would be so helpful

I was veeery excited for this... then the device arrived and it's only compatible with iPhones even though it shows up on the Android app as your owned devices. If you are just going to release the good stuff for iOS why even have this app. Edit: the depth data needed for it is just an excuse.. I doubt the Pixel 7 pro would not be able to support this app.. In the meantime.. please remove the screenshot showing rep tracking... that's false advertisment.

As far as the Android experience goes, it definitely does need more work to be put into it to further refine the experience. The app works fine for me, haven't really had any issues, but the fact that they don't display the timers for each segment or have audio cues is really what bothers me. It seems like such a simple thing to add. Other thing is, it does not support landscape mode. I've seen multiple updates to the iPhone app, but the Android side has stayed static.

Tempo is circling the drain sadly. Bad hardware and software decisions lead to Android or web being completely left out. The studio kits use the kinect camera which MS has discontinued. There's no reason for this and the competition knows it. Peloton Guide is a simpler, cheaper, less space consuming product that does the basics of what this can do. Don't buy this. Love the trainers, many came from Barry's Boot camp in SF. Thank you for 3 years, 400 classes. Hope I run into you all again.

I had an issue with taking classes in the app before the machine arrived, but it didn't matter once the machine arrived. The app is easy to navigate and it's easy to change preferences or get a preview of upcoming classes. I have occasional funny bugs, like once it said I had completed 32 classes this week (when I had only completed 2) or it said every day of the week was a rest day (when I had 4 active days), but closing the app and reopening resolves the issues. Overall a pretty useful app.

Company has been saying we're looking into Android for over a year. I was gifted the tempo move but it's extremely frustrating experience as an android user. The excuses are insane the top android phones have had depths sensors for years. The Microsoft Kinect could track my movements 10 years ago. I'll change my review when android gets full support and then maybe I'll use the weights again.
