Nothing has changed. The app is still impossible to use. To change when the battery charges requires three setting changes. It is really difficult to use and all over the place. Now 1 star as no improvement. My original review from 2022. An app designed and built by tech people, but not designed for ease of use. The UI is awful, to understand the many different pages, numbers and settings is not easy. Needs a major overhaul, they should look at the givenergy app and use that as a foundation.

This app crashes every two weeks or so. Then you have no access to any info for a few days. It has been off again since yesterday. Even though it shows 'online' at the moment I have no relevant info appearing on screen. On 29 Sep 2024 the app is down again with no explanation. Today 9 Oct 24 there is a ' compulsory training video 'how to install solar' that you cannot remove without watching it. Going downhill fast

Can not even manage notifications. They only show up when you open the app. Why even bother with offering notifications if you don't use them properly? And what is with this "fixed bug" update notes? Are you just lazy Joel? Maybe Keith should start thinking about hiring a proper app development company? Fix the notifications. I am regretting my brand choice so bad. I should never have purchased Sunsynk.

The app has some great features, but it definitely caters more to technically inclined users. It feels like the developers had programmers in mind during design, as some settings are tucked away in less intuitive places. The dynamic axis on charts is a bit tricky, especially when switching between different days' data—it can make things confusing at times. I would have loved to see a dark mode, which seems like a must-have for any modern app these days. That's one star off for me!

The hardware is good. The app is good. But Sunstink just keep messing things up which means the app goes offline or randomly stops working. They need to ensure the software is fully regression tested before being released, otherwise customers PV systems can stop working.

UPPDATE NOV.2024. Still no chat. App shows I'm disconnected to power grid with no feed to house. But all power is on and working fine. Terrible interface with this app Customer support is non existent. Have had an issue fir over a month now of the battery not charging, and no one can help me. The chat on the app doesn't work and emails just go in circles without any actually assistance.

Why update the App if you're going to backtrack to yesteryear!! Why is the info updates now gone out of whack, you had it on about 30secs now you have to refresh / delete cache etc etc etc and hope it updates?? Very little point of having an App if I have to check the inverter info panel!!! Request timeout all the time!!

Constant messages about being disconnected and reconnected from the grid and no way of deleting them from phone app. Annoying. Always says 0% efficiency too.
