I can't believe this app could get worse! Now that it's Thanksgiving day and 20 degrees outside it won't connect to wifi and keeps telling me on Bluetooth connection to start the grill first even though it is already running by starting it on the controller outside. This app is like my brother in law and works when it wants to! This app seems to always crash when I have a holiday meal to smoke for extended family.

Updated app 1.3.5 restored my profiles, which is a very pleasant surprise. It also now is connecting again. Having gone to the non-prime app temporarily, I think the UI and features are better on this Prime app. The pause and rewind and skip forward on profile steps makes a huge difference compared to the non-Prime app. Thanks for fixing it!

I was having issues staying connected with 1.3.4-1.3.7. Now on 1.3.8, I can't even connect to the grill. I can log into my account but it won't show anything for the grill. If I reboot the grill, the app says it lost connection and tried to reconnect but fails. Currently this app is broken to the point of being worthless. Too bad because it was originally broken but then was fixed and was working well. I'm hoping they fix it quickly.

Editing to respond to GMG: I found using Google to login instead of Email resolves the issue with the app logging itself out. Also after clearing app cache/data and reinstalling app, timers now work reliably. The app itself is a beautiful upgrade to the legacy GMG app and is very user friendly. Just wish the recipes were laid out cleaner with bullet points instead of just sloppy paragraph formatting.

Update: Newest version. Had to logout and login during grilling. The grill isn't recognised anymore and the app doesn't work. So still 1 star. As others stated, this app frequently loses connection and forgets login details. There are no error messages, so it is unclear whether the app is still connected to the grill or not. Local mode works reasonably via bluetooth. I would like a local WiFi connection without the need to go through GMG's servers. The old app worked a lot more reliable.

I seem to have so many issues with this new app, go to turn up the temperature, no response. Sometimes it will work after I restart the app, but not always. Go and turn it up manually, shows the temp change immediately in the app, what gives? After the update to 1.3.5 all issues seem to be resolved, thanks to the developers for their response.

There seems to be a firmware update issue with ledge prime grill and prime app. The legacy app connected well, though the server mode was more difficult to set up. The new app loses connection stability frequently and it is more difficult to change a grill profile once it has been started. I did send detailed info with trends regarding what happens, after multiple phone calls, and never received a reply. That was a year ago. Thanks for responding to the review though. . . After a year.

App controls the grill great but never remembers my log in details and I need to re-enter them every single time. It also drops data from monitoring frequently and won't show the temperature history graph. *Edit* downgraded my review - Please, PLEASE add a remember log in details feature, I am re-entering my details up to 50 times during a smoke, this is a very basic feature to add.
