This was my first time using the app. It was easy to set up my account, schedule a pickup day and time, and make changes if necessary. Going and coming home, the drivers arrived on time or early, drove safely, and their cars were clean. The app notified me how far away my driver was on a map, the driver called me, and the app automatically called me. This maybe my best taxi experience to date. The only problem is that it's too easy to reset the home location if the pin on the map moves.

It's a great alternative to Uber and Lyft. Especially for people me since cabs unlike U. and L. are aloud on military bases, one of which I work on. It helps when ur in a rush. However a couple of times my ride was sent somewhere near by and when I tried to call, the phone rang but then hang up & the ride was canceled or the driver couldn't or wouldn't look for me. A couple of times the dispatchers neglected to get me a ride when I book one.

Schdueled a wheel accessible ride a day in advance and it took an extra 20 minutes beyond my pick up time to get a driver and then the driver canceled on us after 10 minutes. I got my money back but unsatisfied cause I was very late to my doctors appointment.

While it's exciting to have an alternative to Uber and Lyft, this app needs some serious work. The price quotes are inaccurate- I've been charged substantially less AND substantially more than the approximate fare shown at booking. I don't use the in-app pay option because I don't trust this app with my cc info. That said, the last time I used this app I had pay by reading my cc number to the dispatcher over the driver's cell phone because the cc machine in the cab was broken. Messy.

DC Yellow Cab is normally cheaper than Uber and Lyft. Today for example I paid $17 for Yellow Cab, meanwhile Lyft and Uber were over $30 for the same ride. Most these cab drivers are nice guys, know DC well, and don't even need GPS. I'm happy to support them. But yeah like everyone is saying, the app isn't great. Feels buggy. Also, the quotes aren't always accurate, but it's usually by just 5 dollars or so. Whatever. Still cheaper than Uber and Lyft most of the time. I'll keep using this app.

This app is easy to use and really helpful, never had an issue so far. Since I been using this app I never had an issue securing a taxi when I needed one. Mostly I pre-book my ride which is really a nice to be able to do.

So.oeople hate on this app but they are stupid...frfr cabbies k ow the city better and it is usually I have found to be cheaper then Uber (esp during surge) and faster and the cabbies are generally easier to deal with....an app that is functional and offers a better experience as far as the product of using that app is much better then an app which has a better UI but an inferior product..

Communication barrier lack of understanding the pick-up location and drop off destination for starters couldnt hear me when called the cab service i didnt get to my hotel which is literally 1.8miles from the pickup location So yes im a little frustrated to state the least
