Any idea when the fingerprint access will not require a password to allow that feature to be enabled? Every time I "enable" the fingerprint option, I have to enter my password the very next time. I'm thinking that feature isn't really working at intended... from my experience. Oh... and the, "something went wrong... try again later. " Message is my favorite.

The old app was so much better. For 2 to 3 years now you can't get engineered wood to go through. It never accepts the shaved wood part. I always wind up sending the piece in because it always says jagged cut and out of focus EVEN THOUGH I very carefully and gently shave it exactly as they say to do it. And the picture is add clear as day, using pixel camera which is the best on the market. PLEASE itel, lower the sensitivity on this stupid app!!!

This app gets the job done, but there are several samples that had errors a year ago and won't clear out of the action items and can't be resolved or dismissed; samples that get mailed in never get cleared out of being in progress, and now the app keeps saying there's a new version available even after I update or completely reinstall. The update popup will appear even in the middle of working on a sample. I does work in the most basic sense, so this is clearly a minimum-effort app.

The app looks polished and as easy to use as possible. Unfortunately, that only seems to be the case for IOS. Android users are out of luck. Every time I open the app it says I'm not using the latest version (I am). Half the time it errors out while signing in. Only way around it is to clear all app data or uninstall/reinstall the app. Lastly, when you are measuring width with the forensic ruler, you spend 10min lining up a shot for it to go out of focus as soon as the button is pressed.

This app absolutely terrible for Androids, which is unfortunate. My camera on the Google pixel 6, is 10x better than my iPhone 10xr work phone. When it comes to taking more detailed pictures for hardwood samples I would rather use my personal phone. But I have to uninstall the app every single time I need to send a sample. The app unfortunately works just fine on the iPhone. Except the program won't let you zoom in or adjust anything for a more clear picture.

Itel is helpful, but the app is hot garbage. Every time I need to use the app, it loses the password, I click forgot password and it claims to not have an internet connection. I should NOT have to reset the cache and reinstall the app every time I need to use it. It is highly unprofessional and unpleasant to fight with your phone on-site with a customer.

App is clunky. Call a rep to get assistance. He talked to me like I should understand how to use the product already. Well Mel I needed help you failed to assist me. For a first time user I doubt I will try to use it again. Get better help!

Had to disable notifications because a sample I don't have anymore kept popping up saying need more information at midnight, by the time I stopped it 1220am my notification text said it had over 100 notifications on my work phone(iPhone) and personal phone(android). Stopped working on iPhone and on android it blurs the ruler photo or if there is a tiny bit of shine or dirt says it is blurry. Would not recommend but have to use for work to keep insurance analytic numbers on app use up.
