the app and video recording is very slow, a lot different than showed in the advs. The camera is not rotating horizontal and very limited vertical rotation! Although is written in the spec is a very big downside, also is not very clear in the promotional videos ,neither official marketing pictures / videos. I had to buy another sec camera for holidays house, I won't buy Lutec anymore

not good it keeps crashing and I need the video for a Neighbour .and every time I try to download the video it crashes it was very good. but now not good

Ive had the security light for 3+years. Generally it works adequately but they recently "updated" the app and now when you playback videos there is no charge to the thumbnails. This makes it impossible to know which clips have been viewed. Why on earth did they change this? Update. I emailed support and they sent a link to download which has fixed the issue

This app only works with one light, Don't buy a second and expect it to work. I have contacted security light email and exchange many emails, reset the light many times. The the app will not "add" the second light., Update 3weeks of emails back and forth, the app seems to have been updated. I can now connect my second light. Changed to 3 star's.

I bought this product because it had continuous recording. I've updated the memory card to the maximum size recommended (32GB). However when I'm trying to view the previous nights video the following morning although the app says there something to view for yesterday when you select it it says corresponding file not found. Playback can also be unstable & sometimes freezes. The camera picture is good & the settings for the light work well. Notifications don't always seem to work. Needs more work.

Would worth the money with a decent app. Have to tap 3 times the replay to actually get the replay, not the live. Custom mode unstable, sensor sensitivity settings are flipping from sensor+camera to sensor & camera for no reason...no way to get the sensor only mode... On Low security level mode, the continuous light level is on...and it's recording almost continuously...I ended by turning completely off the notifications as it was driving me crazy. I did some reset factory, without any change.😕

Love this device, easy to set up, crystal clear recording day and night, but recently having trouble, have received notifications but device hasn't been recording for a month. When press playback message says find failed, did not find corresponding file. Recording set to sensor record. Have reset device but still the same. After feedback, we turned camera off for a couple of hours and replaced the memory card with a new one and it works perfectly. Really like the new update too.

Had a lutec camera for around 2 years now and it's useless. Contacted customer support on a number of occasions and although they try to help, the software is just poor. It constantly picks up cars in the back ground, but when someone walks down the drive, it's so slow to react you barely catch anything. The light also activates at a different time to the recording which is also pointless. I'm now going to replace with a more controllable and reliable competitor.
