I like the app, but I sent 2 emails to support with questions and never heard from them. I read some of the reviews about pics. I hope that my man gets mine. I really don't have the extra money to spend because I only get so much a month, and it actually comes out of my grocery money. Yes, I get disability checks. If they don't get the pics, it's a waste of money. I hope support gets back to me on the questions I sent in an email.

I like the app a lot. I was able to find the person I was looking for so easily and we've already sent a couple messages back and forth. I just wish I didn't have to log in so frequently. Leaving Penmate open and navigating to another app usually requires me to log back in when I pull Penmate up again. Sometimes I'm randomly asked to log in again even though I haven't even left the app.

❌Multiple days to print. ❌3 days to pick up. ❌Only got notification updates after checking the app myself. ❌ETA changed 3 times. ❌Took over a week to be delivered after pick-up. ❌No delivery notification until I checked the app. 👎They wrote my international address incorrectly. 👎The reply letter will be returned. 👎I contact them about this 2 weeks ago, was ignored 👎Paid $16.53 (Mail direct = $2 and faster).

this app doesn't work in all facilities please check your facility before you purchase credits to see what your facility recommends that you use to contact your loved ones it was very slow to find out it didn't work out for us. but we did get a full refund of what we paid it took longer than expected to realize that it was not working out. the first letter bounced around the system for about three weeks before we had it returned. and a second letter was already in process by the time we noticed

DO NOT ASK THIS COMPANY FOR ASSISTANCE THey will call you a liar and demean you via email. Not worth the time to attempt to use it. Their customer service flat out sucks. won't let me add photos not a single direction on how to purchase credits no response to requests for help. absolute nightmare. NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: sent messages, there is not help item that addresses credits. it won't let me create a message with out credits. can't upload photos, won't send plain message nada.NO SUPPORT TICKET

one minute I was able to use the app next minute it's saying having trouble logging into accounts from app. messaged support only to get the response if it sounded like a cache issue. so what the use of asking for help if none of it works .

this is great, very fast response from the app, very easy way to write beautiful letters and send a few pictures that can be printed out and mailed straight to prison. it's awesome! I got to meet my father who's incarcerated for life. it is simple and wonderful. very fast response from customer service if you have any questions about using it's features. it is my go to when talking to my father for sure.

I never never leave reviews but I absolutely love this app. I downloaded this app because I had trouble getting my original letters to my boyfriend. So when I found out I can write letters and send pictures with this app I thought I would try it out. It works great they get to boyfriend with no problem. I did have 2 small issues but penmate responded right away and fixed the issues no problem. I really recommend this app. Thank you!
