What happened? This app needs more work before going live. Since the big redesign, it's now riddled with ads that are very intrusive and spammy, many of which can't be closed unless the app is completely closed altogether. Also very buggy--can be reading an article and the story disappears to just a white background. Used to be my go-to for local weather and news, but no more!

Notifications pop up. I open the app, and it just gives me a short sentence and the only option is to select ok. On top of that, it was a notification about a national icon dying, and all they could manage was a brief pop up window not even an article on it. Absolutely rude, uncaring, and NOT in the southern spirit of having hospitality. I've had issues with the lack of news articles and the ads in app for a whole now but I was trying to ignore it. Clickbait lying ads at that.

Absolutely useless!! This new version is horrible! Spam adds pop up and I have to completely close the app and go back to the article. Within seconds of trying to read an article the screen goes completely white everytime. I've uninstalled then reinstalled the app. It's pointless. I don't understand why you would allow such trash and not have taken steps to fix it. I'll be using WLTX until this is fixed. It seems your viewers are no longer your priority. Very disappointed...

The new update makes video play every time you open an article. You have to constantly mute the video, which is annoying, and can't simply READ the news. There is no option in the settings to stop the video from playing every time. Don't try to wake up, have a cup of coffee, and read anything in silence. Right now that is impossible.

Good app for general overview of the days events sometimes. But with the latest update, there are too many popup ads. Get right in the middle of reading an article and a stupid ad pops up. Also, scrolling thru the headlines leads you to believe many stories pertain to local situations. But after clicking on a headline, the story is often that of something in another state and has no real importance to South Carolina. More focus needs to be placed on local stories because you are a local station. If I want to hear about national or international news, I'll use CNN, FOX, or other main broadcast companies.

This app absolutely sucks. The old version was so much better. This one is loaded with so many ads and glitches. The format is harder to read and the stories repeat. It's hard to tell what's new and what's an update on a story. Basically the whole thing sucks, it's like they did absolutely no research on what people are looking for in a news app.

It is a good app, but what makes me give it a 2 star is because every video there is an ad before you can get to the news and it's annoying. Now I can see some ads here and there, but every time. This why I don't watch the video's and I understand this is how you get revenue, but the ads are too much.

WISTV provides excellent TV news coverage of the SC Midlands. However, the WIS10 app is just OK. I can tolerate the injury lawyer pop-up ads that precede ANY news information. Lately there are many pop-up video ads that I cannot & will not tolerate. When that happens, I immediately close the app.
