Like most people I was very excited to play a game on my phone that I grew up playing on my computer. The game play itself is pretty good but everything else about the app is subpar. I mean the interface likes like a windows 95 program ported to a phone. There are too many adds. On top of that they are charging $19.99 for the full version??? $19.99 is their sale price by the way. This is ridiculous for this type of game and the overall quality is the app. I could maybe see $1.99, but not $19.99!

😱 This is EXACTLY the same as when it came out! I took a wild guess to look in Google Play after all these years because I remembered how I killed time in between courses at Job Corps. - I even paid $20 for the full version, though IDK how to get that back, but still happy I have this free version! Thank you for bringing back the memories all these years later! 💖 U GUYS!!!

Stick to Frozen Bubble. Was hoping this would be the nostalgic 90s/early 00s Snood experience. There are two kinds of microtransactions. One for tokens (used to play) which you can either buy or get by watching ads. And the other for gold, which you use to buy special Snoods instead of them appearing in the game at random. I understand wanting some money for the game, but $40 for unlimited play on a mobile game seems very excessive. Frozen Bubble offers very similar gameplay and totally free.

I was initially excited to find the game of my childhood reborn as a mobile app. I find the app to be lackluster. Tokens are required to play every level except child. I don't want to have limited "lives." I'd rather pay a couple bucks and have unlimited play than watching ads or microtransactions. Also the aiming is more difficult with touchscreen than a mouse, making it less likely to hit those satisfying rebound shots.

Snood classic sticks closely to the original game, however there are areas that it shouldn't try to recapture. The presentation is a mess, as was the original. Emulating crude retro pc game graphic design doesn't mean you need to sacrifice good UI/UX. There are some times where the visuals don't match the gameplay, for instance in the puzzle stages where the level is narrowed horizontally, the left boundary doesn't seem to line up with the actual collision of the wall. Additionally, seeing the game so microtransaction heavy is a huge turn off, and the price to buy the game is far to high for the quality presented. I would love to support a more polished experience in the future.

I played this a ton close to 20 years ago and recently rediscovered it via newsletter. This version is a bit ad heavy and it's disappointing that unlimited play is the most expensive option out of several pay tiers. That said, it is otherwise the same original experience and every bit as delightful as it once was. I recommend!

Amazing game! I love the faces and the arcade-like audio. It's fun and relaxing to play. The ads pop up for me after each level which is pretty on par with other apps. The ads aren't typically too long either so I don't mind it. Thank you guys for redoing the original. Me and my brother used to play this non stop when we visited our grandparents. It's nostalgic and still fun to play today 😊

At first I rated this app 5 stars, unfortunately after purchasing the $5 registration I realize that it was pretty much useless. It opens up the puzzle levels but you cannot get past the next few levels without paying money for the exploding ball or the row creator. So I pretty much paid 5 bucks for nothing! Don't waste your money
