I'm unsure about all phone compass apps, I magnetized a needle, put it through a cork & put it in a bowl of water. Placed it in the middle of the yard, moved it around to insure no electromagnetic interference. Found the app shows a 30° difference two other apps show the same. I did do the figure 8 calibration, then set the phone to airline and turned off the WIFI. Still a 30° off. Hmmm, I just compared this my property Plat it matches the needle, not the apps. Why is that?

This simple compass app is one of the best in its class. I am using it from last 7 months and never had any issue with it. It is very easy to calibrate for more accurate results. Its a shame if someone still doesn't know how to properly calibrate their mobile device sensors for more accurate results ! And Thumb's up for those who skipped paid compass app for this 100% functional and accurate simple compass app ! :)

Simply the best offline compass app I ever tried and its highly useful for those people who still use maps and try to find locate themselves in old fashioned way. It works with great accuracy and easy to collaborate too.

I work in a cruise ship and I always keep this simple compass app as a backup to navigate. It always works very accurate and very easy to use. its very handy in open seas to know actually where we are directed in emergency situations. Highly recommended !

This compass app works great in all wide open places outdoor but indoor sometime it get effected by magnetic interference and need to get colaburated to work accurately but it's fine because it's purely works offline and mobile sensors . it's simple and so far so good . I like it

Very annoying app. like many other compass app calibration is a dead duck. After going dizzy trying to make it accept figure of 8 twirling the calibration finally seemed to show it had set. Yet accuracy was dreadful. 90degrees out of true. worse when I tried to close it the wretched app turned on TouchWiz and it took me an hour to find how to turn it off. Then it had removed all my shortcuts on home screen. so I cursed how it had wasted my time. so in truth I would give it minus 5 *

This compass is far more easy to use and 99.99% more accurate than other compass apps I tired before. It is very easy to calibrate for more accuracy. Everyone should have this simple compass app in their mobile phones 😍
