The playback feature in the app is starring to give us issues. It will take an extremely long time for just 1 second of footage to play and trying to skip ahead just causes it to take longer. The screen either freezes or stays black and won't load. It also no longer sends notifications to my phone. Not sure what changed, but my settings still say that push notifications are enabled, they just aren't coming through.

I LOVE it for full time monitoring and recording (wired system) when at home ..... But, the android app that I have paid $10 a month for years ... makes me feel like a fool to admit that I have paid for it..... I have a high speed network at home and a 5G high end phone with 4 to 5 bars most of the time....,I get motion alerts ,but for live video most of the time, I have to switch to my ARLO cameras.

Put the video picture back! Before we could at least see a sample of the video in a freeze frame picture. Now we have to scroll through every blank line because we have no idea what's on the video. And it's recording every bug motion and car driving by! Put the video picture back so we can see what's on the video and stop wasting so much time clicking through each one!!!!!!

I have a high quality well maintained network. This system will barely load the cameras with our having to refresh or restart the system several times. The speaker sound quality for the coms is incomprehensible. The input delay on the whole system is like using AOL dial up. The doorbell camera lasts 2 days on its battery. I'm am very disappointed in my purchase.

This was once a decent app. With update recently it's become unusable and useless. Cannot view HD even on home wifi and cannot download video anymore. The picture snap shots are 300x200 resolution. How pathetic. Again, a completely useless app now. Update: They have done 0 to address these issues. Somehow the app is even worse now. Won't even play in SD now.

Floodlight cameras give a lot of false triggers and don't trigger when they should. 1080 camera is better with fewer false triggers but still missed many triggers that should easily be detected. Have added these to other software to monitor as the app/recordings on Swann are not dependable. Would never buy wifi cameras from Swann again as they are not something you can depend on.

******11/20/24 UPDATE ****** This app STINKS all it does is spin and when playing it keeps freezing Horrible this app has to be the WORST I can only watch playback on SD and it's very grainy if I choose HD is glitches like crazy while watching live feed it freezes alot the options that this app allows are worthless I can't make any adjustments to my cameras at all idk why they won't really work to improve this app stop all the freezing and fix the HD settings

The camera and view is good but the response time for the notifications and camera view on your phone is VERY SLOW ! By the time you get the notification and are able to get the live view on my phone the person is long gone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, so it's not because it's an old phone. I am in a wheelchair and would like to see what is going on outside so I can catch my deliveries before they set it on the ground. The app is so slow that even the truck is gone before I can see it.
