Piss poor device/Management software. Shades vary with signal strengths from poor, average, & good. Signal strength is completely separate in distance/connection to the hub. Placing the hub next to shades doesn't improve signal. Meaning each shade has an internal device that's either working or faulty. Also, sales only added 1 hub, but tech advised I'd need multiple per room. Yeah.. no. That's not a convience. Opened a ticket for RMA, not happy, this is false advertising.

Will not pair with the majority of my shades. For the one it pairs with, the shade is "offline" 99% of the time. UPDATE: After chatting with support, doing a bunch of experimentation with changing wifi settings, and trying over and over again, I was able to get all of the shades paired. The shades are also online most of the time - google home commands work about 9 in 10 times, with some delay.

It's great when it works, but it's not very reliable. Individual shades frequently toggle between online and offline despite being in close proximity (10-20 feet) to their bridge. And recently one of my bridges somehow deleted all of its paired devices for no apparent reason.

As a Home automation integrator I got suckered in to setting up a shade store (pulse automation) hub . My experience with this was that the unit wouldn't communicate with a shade that was 2ft away but would work a shade that was 9-10 ft away. Shade control is inconsistent at best. Will it apply changes to your timers? Maybe. But probably not. So you'll have your shade timers going through a mix of long ago deleted timers, working for one and two, and completely ignoring the rest. Customer Service will tell you to uninstall and reinstall. Maybe it'll work after you spend 20 minutes redoing all your timers from scratch. And then you can do this again in 2 months when the seasons change and you need to make changes again.

When it works, it does control the shades. It supports scenes and timers. But often individual shades stop working, or the entire system stops working. I have 2 hubs in my 3000 sq ft house. I have fully charged the rollers. Shade Store has said the system is not compatible with modern 5ghz wifi. Half my shades disappeared from the app in 2022. I had to follow their laborious process to re-pair them. Sometimes the timers are late. My "10 minutes after sunset" timer never triggers anymore in 2024.

Edit: Apparently I had a defective motor, which was known by the company per their technician. They had a bad lot from (Rollease I assume) which they never told anyone about. It's up to you to call in and get it fixed. I assume part of these trash reviews are due to that. I got mine Nov 2022. Upping my rating as the app mostly does work. But comment about poor UX/UI stands. Also, need to retry pairing a few times before it works.The tech did this, not me, and basically said "yeah it's flaky".

Does not work. I had an entire system installed in 2020. Worked for maybe 1 year, then v2 of the app came out, and now my system is a brick. There is nowhere to get the v1 app which works with the black hub. Poor business practice to sell a EOL product with no support.
