The Hum used to work great. It used to show real time movement of the vehicle as it was being driven. Now it will only update the vehicle location every 20 to 30 seconds. This needs to be fixed! That small amount of time can make a huge difference in vehicle location! Get it together Hum!

i love Hum. It has saved me from a dead battery multiple times by notifying me of low battery condition. BUT it has been driving me crazy with notifications about my trips....if i stop at a redlight i get a notification, or an hour after returning home i will get a notification that my trip is over. sometimes it sends me notifications for unknown reasons. Called customer service, they could not help. I am considering deleting the app to see if that will stop the notification overload.

I used to like this app and still like several features, but what ruins the entire rating for me is that the app on my phone (vice the device plugged into my vehicle) seems to record every trip. This means that when I'm in any other vehicle (as a driver or passenger) that my location and the trip are being recorded. How is that justified? It's just not neccessary and I'd really like the option to turn that feature off.

Mostly what I've read here...I have 2 vehicles that have the HUM devices. One works great but the other one doesn't! Even after I installed it in a newer vehicle that I purchased last week, the App's location still shows the vehicle is exactly where I first put the unit into the OBD reader. The car dealership lot!! But, the location sharing shows the vehicle is exactly where my cell phone is located. Even though I am miles away from the device. Great idea...needs better engineering!

2 stars is very generous! Easy to use and location finding is why the 2. Other than that, the app is soo glitchy. Half the time it says unable to load map for previous destinations. A lot of the times it will not log accurate routes. It quite frequently disconnect the device (not register) or so it says. Often times is says point a - b and "b" old stop logging in the middle of the freeway and not map out the rest of the trip. Could be good, just too many issues with the main purpose of this app

The latest version is much worse than the previous version. Takes forever to locate a vehicle if it works at all. You guys really need to stop using high school kids to create your app. Two years later and this app has gotten worse. The vehicle locator is often inaccurate and freezes without warning. Really guys. This is sloppy. I wish I could report that the latest version is much improved...but that would not be accurate. In fact, if it were possible, I would give the new version zero stars.

Enticing features... I thought it provided a WiFi signal no matter where you were. At least that's how it was pitched to me. No phone service = no WiFi signal either. And when you do get it, it's ridiculously sluggish. 4G is so much faster! =/ Really disappointed and wish I could return it now. If your car is stolen in a no signal area, I doubt you could locate it until it was within range of signal again. Thumbs way down.

I use the Hum to drive for Uber for about a year now and sometimes it goes out, (No Internet) you have to remove it, ( wait a minute) and plug it back in, I have missed about an hour & a half, to two hours worth of work trying to get it to work. Altho when it is working it is good, lots of features on the app cheapest nearest gas station, vehicle status, etc.. I have Verizon and it seems to be the only option of Wi-Fi on the go. The GPS on it is the most accurate when I've seen.
