Awful experience to say the least. After over 8 months with the Dride 4K I'm still unable to download a video to this phone at all. The UI is not user friendly, it takes ages to find clips, if you can find them at all. The thumbnails regularly don't load & the videos often don't play at all. It can't keep an accurate time for the videos & they keep getting retimed hours or days in the past, some even got given the year 1970 which makes it impossible to find videos. Save yourself time and trouble. Do not buy this product or use this app. The product is low quality with numerous issues. The installation is unclear and an absolute nightmare if you don't have any mini fuses open (I only have Micro2 open) I have spent months attempting to troubleshoot with the owner and made no progress. Their support system is a forum, from the forum I eventually got to email, and finally to messaging with the owner directly on Whatsapp, still with no resolution.

This app gives me nothing but problems. There's always something that prevents the video from downloading or saving it to my phone or otherwise connecting at all. It works periodically but then stops out of the blue. this dride camera had a very good chance of being a great camera but the app is holding it back. If they could just fix that it would work perfectly. Also, Support is no help as they asked many questions but give scripted answers.. The share button works 2 out of 10 times.

Kickstarter delivered, the DrideZero came. Some minor issues with the App getting connected initially but the Dev team are responsive and active in the support forums so the issues got addressed quickly. The switching between WiFi and mobile data send a bit clunky at times and some operations seem to require a good connection on both networks in order for them to run correctly (firmware update, cloud upload, video sharing). Generally satisfied with the camera and the App but could be better.

The app, the software and firmware of the Dride dash cam device - all look like created by amateur students at school, what's regarding stability. Design is ok, but if you need a dash cam and an app that you can TRUST - it's far too early to recommend the Dride Zero. Video quality is below expected, unknown "requirements" to the SD card are unpredictable, as well as app and dash cam behaviour. Crashes constantly. Update 19-02-2020: nothing changed actually. Still unable to update firmware, etc.

Realistic review. It wont maintain connectivity to the dashcam, you have to factory reset to get it to work almost every time. 2nd issue constantly loops saying Loading clips. App randomly logs you out. Check the forums, not isolated incidents, the app and dashcam are pretty useless at this point. App is alpha at best. Dride admin, No changelog in playstore. See forum for all faults listed as there are plenty of them. Not bashing realistic review of app.

I have had a Samsonix R645D cam installed on my car a couple of months ago with the hope that I could access with the Dride App. Although Samsonix R655 and R500 are supported, mine (R645D) is not (even though the Samsonix manual that came with my Cam clearly states it should work fine). Contacted Dride support but no response and my device is still not yet supported. Tried the Samsonix Cams that are supported but I keep on getting an error. It's really not working for me at all. Any support or helpful hints would be greatly appreciated. Mike

Very disappointed, how could you make an expensive product that's fully dependent on it's app, and sell it before you get the app to work? There's no screen on the device to make up for the trash app, as of now completely useless device. I will be requesting a return/refund.
