I am trying hard to use the app since 2016, because I like the content. At one point it was working fine, even though every single time I open an article, a huge app is covering the whole screen, but since one week the moment I try to open the app either from a notification or from the icon, it instantly crashes.

Too many video ads with loud volume as default, and now you can't even close them for several seconds!! Makes it very unpleasant to use the app. I understand the need for ads, but this is too much! Can you imagine a newspaper or magazine with obnoxious ads that prevents you from turning the page? That's what this is like!!

Truthfully I would like to give this app 5 stars. The layout is beautiful, the writing excellent and the news coverage is thorough and fair. I am bothered by a lack of settings so I can suppress the audible alert. I must turn my ringer all the way down or you hear the J Post alert all over the place. The number of alerts is huge and many are repeated in the ICYMI feature. I have BBC, NY POST, NY TIMES, etc. Only J POST makes noise so Quiet Already! Thank you.

Used to work very well. The last 6 months no so good: half of the time I cannot open the articles from notifications, and most of the time, after reading an article opened from a notification, I cannot go back to the main page. Have to close the app altogether and open it again. Irritating. It used to work well. Why ruin it?

Two steps forward one step back - Hurray, after many years now hitting a notification takes you to directly to the article! But the notifications are large with pictures, and with so many including the ICYMI, an oxymoron when notifications should be for breaking news or articles of import, the list is overwhelmed and some are dropped. I also don't like the new design of the page itself - but that's a matter of personal taste - too many pics and fewer articles.

August 2022 You've done it again!!! Video ads with sound blasting as default. I am unsubscribing now. Too bad. Why on earth have you introduced intrusive video ads with the soundtrack default set to "on". I am about the uninstall the App. I understand the necessity for ads? But audio ads destroy the atmosphere for me, and make it impossible to read in public, or while someone is sleeping near me.

The info they give is accurate and true. About the app itself it's annoying because it all the time collapses. For quick headlines it's fine but when reading a story you have to open the app again and again and again.

The most recent changes to the app make it impossible to use. The adds come in the middle of reading an article, and then the app closes or goes back to the list of stories. Trying to ysecit is a waste of time
