This sequel feels short. I was expecting more. Don't get me wrong. The plot is good, as always, but there was barely any romance opportunity and I felt like I was getting friendzone all the times. What happened to the romance?! And the abrupt epilogue made me felt cheated. Sure, everyone is praising the improved writing, but I'm a suckered for romance and that's why I like the first book.

The story is greatly improved from the first one in my opinion especially the secret route. You get to see so much more of all the characters while getting to interact with them in a multitude of different ways depending on your choices. This one is less stats heavy like the previous one and more reliant on your choices which I really enjoyed. You know and feel how impactful your choices are and if you act without thinking rationally (like I did) the game can end in 5 minutes. Highly recommend.

While I wouldn't say it was badly written at all, I was a bit puzzled by the story here. I didn't think the main plot was just gonna be rescuing a certain friend, with the story taking place a short span of time. Maybe a 3rd entry would make me feel better. I am looking forward to the next game still and found the soul stone plot rather intriguing.

This game is nice! However, compared to the first one, it's..incredibly short? Still enjoyable, but it is dissapointingly quick. To clarify, two stars gone not because of bad quality, but because I wanted more. 6.99 is pushing it, in my opinion, but if you have the money and have played the first one, I'd spend it. Overall, good game, just very short. Also, more enjoyable if you play the first Soul Stone War!

The previous story took its time and had more characters whereas this one was much faster paced and action-oriented. All the arrogant Gods, dragons and magic could actually be dangerous and Manerkol might have the right idea. It's a shame that I have to romance Manerkol to join his side because I think his cause is just and it would have been nice to join him in friendship. The narrative moved really fast and the ending was epic. Looking forward to the epic showdown coming up in the third book.

Felt really short or I read too fast lol, it ended just when it felt like it should be getting going. All in all though I didn't hesitate to purchase this sequel because I love this story+characters and I also want to support the writer doing what they enjoy so they can have the encouragement they need to continue writing one of my favorite series!

I was very excited when I spied the release of this second installment. As with the first book I loved each of the characters and their personalities, particularly seeing the MC becoming closer and more open with the group vice versa. While at times the pacing felt a little rushed, some sequences flashing past with only one or two choices involved, I still really enjoyed the experience. I think with just a bit more content in each chapter and more choices this would absolutely hit 5 stars!

Played the demo, then threw myself to play the REAL trial. Though I'm not sure how to switch the stones in the 2nd book (Played the 1st book, but only the trial playthrough, unless you need the data from the 1st to change in the 2nd book)... I noticed changes from the demo itself and the trial. But probably when I get to have both books in full version... it'll be fun. I speedrun this, lol, so let me leave some 5 stars as gratitude (I WAS THERE).
