I had subscribed previously but cancelled because I felt like I had seen everything I wanted and the new content being added left a great deal to be desired. I just resubscribed and they seem to have improved somewhat and have some great new content. My biggest complaint is that they used to have a user review section and they seem to have removed it. They need to add it back and show average viewer reviews with the movie descriptions.

Great app, good functionality and a nice assorted catalog of content. My only complaint is there isn't enough content to warrant a constant subscription. You could easily enjoy what Dekkoo offers taking out a sub every few months to catch up on new content. I wish there was more available content out there but that is mostly the issue they're facing. Roughly 80% of LGBT content is independent making it hard to hone in on the rights for streaming syndication. Fellow Writers, time to type!

Edited:I'd give 4-5 stars for the great selection of movies, but only 2-3 stars for the UI whose basic functions don't always work properly. The other night a movie I was in the middle of watching stopped playing with a message saying the content wasn't currently available The subtitles are of mixed quality, most are good but some are very bad and hard to read I love short films so an option to group movies by web-series/features/shorts in "my library" would help improve the experience

Basic video app. Content is varied. Playback is options not cleae compared with other apps - e.g. Skipping ahead or back a few seconds is available but not obvious. Somewhat clumsy interface. Searching catalogue isn't great and there's no metadata for studios etc. so not easy to search. Browsing is limited, too. Often it's easier to find a film elsewhere then search for the title in this app.

Love the app! Lots of great movies and short films too. Dekkoo is the app to have if you want to enjoy great films of diverse cultute and quality entertainment.

I am not sure a subscription cost higher than Netflix is justified, after seeing that the majority of content (including their original content) consists of shorts and webisodes. It only took me a couple days to feel like I'd seen half of what the app has to offer. That being said, it isn't a bad investment if you can afford it.

I've been touched emotionally and otherwise by some the original and unique movies of any length here. I'm not certain exactly what the philosophy or mission is - not a negative but more my misunderstanding sometimes about criteria for inclusion. I've discovered some masterpieces that were among the best. Some of these works I now have outside Dekkoo for the first time recently.

Simple and straightforward interface and so far does what it says. I've used it to cast to my TV, would be great for series to have the next episode play automatically after one ends. It has a good library of LGBT films including recent and old, although I couldn't find some that I know about. Discovered Paper Boys from this and I do hope there would be a season 2 for it.
