Tons of well-written, clearly levelled content for learners and good quality audio, well worth the subscription price. I hope future versions of the app make the audio playback more stable and I would like to be able to copy words from stories (to look up in the dictionary or add to my flashcard app vs having to retype). It would be great to have an export feature for words we star since many of us already use other spaced repetition apps rather than the built in one.

I've been studying with TTMIK videos and books for years. However, I've been stuck around level 3 needing to learn more vocabulary and endings. I feel like TTMIK Stories is finally the tool that is working for me! I've been using it daily for about a month now. The stories are entertaining, funny, heartwarming, and useful. It's amazing how much I can already read. I also read aloud and repeat after the reader for speaking practice. This is well worth the subscription cost! Thanks, TTMIK!

While I really love the expansive content, I am really frustrated with how difficult the app is to use when I want to go back and listen to older stories. When I want to go back to listen to old stories, I have to press play multiple times and when it doesn't work, I have to close the story completely or close the entire app for the story to just play one time. It's happened on two phones

I love the format, and I expect when I am higher than Level 2, I will be able to understand better. However, the level 1 stories and articles are much more difficult than I believe a Level 1 beginner can do, especially if reading comprehension is low. The quiz does not have audio questions, so it lies on the reader to be able to read with better comprehension than the text itself. These lessons seem to expect the reader to have already completed level 1, which was not clear.

Reading Korean is difficult! At first, my eyes couldn't make any sense of what I was seeing. Now, after a month of regular use, I'm able to get through a section in about 5 minutes. The stories are interesting, and it gets easier over time. I've learned more about natural Korean word order and the use of grammar from this app than from any other language tool I have. I like the vocab practice too. It's pricey but worth it! I started with a monthly subscription and then upgraded to annual.

Content is excellent - articles and stories are fun, engaging, and appropriate for my level. I can tell a lot of work was put into writing these which can justify the cost a little bit. However, like others, I do also feel the price is too high to subscribe monthly, especially given that I already have a TTMIK general subscription which has a lot more content and variety. I think there's a lot of potential here and would like to support the continuous development and expansion of this app.

I love TTMIK, have the online subscription, and multiple books. I like the idea of this app and appreciate the work that went into it. I tested at a Level 1 for this app. I do wish there was an English translation for stories and quizzes for Level 1 readers. I use Papago to translate words I don't know. The quizzes can be difficult for Level 1. Would a dictionary feature be difficult to add to the app? The cost for monthly membership is high, so I'm weighing the pros and cons.

It was interesting. I liked the format, I liked that it quizzed you and curated content based on your individual skill. However, after finishing the free trial, I will not be purchasing the app. I placed level 3 and I have only a single year of korean lessons, and haven't practiced jorean in over 10 years. The story I got, I thought I understood it (loved the vocab help) but once I got to the quiz, could not understand what it was asking. I have more thoughts, but not enough space to write here.
