Total rip off only buys the books at a fraction of what you paid originally. Like one I scanned was $10.99 and it said to sell for $0.30. No idea where the glowing reviews are coming from

Generally a great app but theres some flaws. If you hook up a Bluetooth scanner the ISBN will not read when in search mode but it works fine for things like text documents. I'd assume it's something with the keyboard the app is using for the search ISBN function Edit: Updated to 4-star. Barcode scanner support has been integrated. The only problem is that once you scan a barcode with the scanner it wont auto remove the previous scan when you scan another so it only shows results for the first

This app is not really that good, I use it only until I find something else. They will buy SOME books at a ridiculously low price which is fine they have to re sell them, but have the smallest detail off like a wrinkle or something insignificant mark and they will take the book while not paying you even a fraction of the already fraction of what they pay you. Meaning you loose your book unless you pay for them to send it back, and the payment is exactly the amount theyweregoingtopay you.Not cool

I've been selling books back to booksrun and a few other companies for a good 2yrs now and have to say that overall, Booksrun has been the most reliable and consistent as far as getting paid in a timely manner. The only complaint I've got is that it's a shame if you live locally, that you've still got to ship the books as opposed to having the option to go in person, drop off your books and let the process continue...like even a drop off box would be amazing as I live 10min away😍

Super convenient and easy-to-use! The barcode scanner stays on until you're done scanning ALL of your books. I love that. I made a quick $60 in just 15 minutes. Only 19 of my books were accepted but that's better than nothing. I'll take it! 😁 Update: It took 6 days for them to receive my shipment. After that, it took another 3 days for them to process it. Once processed, I received my payment within 24 hours (although it is said that it can take up to 4 days). Overall, a very pleasant experience. No issues.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Edit: After about two months they got back to me and they gave me a 50% refund which is good. I wanted to cancel my book and so I contacted them but they still won't get back to me after a week which its says 3 to 4 business days and now it's too late to get my money back and I have a book that I dont need that i rented and have to send it back with them taking my money and me gaining absolutely nothing. I did get the right book I wanted but there customer service could be a lot better. It's almost like they didnt get back to me in time on purpose.

Conveniently see the total $ as you go, inconvenient that payout method is not one of the 1st things (paypal). Also, they do NOT actually buy back that many. Actually btwn this & bookscouter (tiny bit better as shows $ from all sites) - MOST books either cant sell, or wont get more than a few cents...so idk what "HIGH" prices they're talking about. No PayPal acct & check? Really? Not waiting 4 mailed $ - uninstalling...waste of time..

Booksrun=dependable with buybacks and the first franchise I go to for purchasing used books at a good price. They have a large and evolving inventory. I've been doing business with Booksrun for years from the Boston area. They have a good customer service team that is efficient, timely, and professional.
