I heard about the app on AFN radio in Korea and decided to try the app. Doesn't work. After login, the screen shows a busy loading icon for a moment, then goes blank. I can't access menus but can not see any content. What a bust... Android, Samsung Galaxy s24+ (US unlocked version)

This app used to work on my android phone in the summer of '24 here stateside, now for the last few months it doesn't work like people have said. I called them and complained and was told that it ONLY works for OCONUS, and that when it worked for me CONUS it must've been a "glitch". Based on the reviews I see that doesn't seem to be the case. So disappointing that this still hasn't been resolved.

The Army offered this to us to watch NFL games but it's literally unusable, it loads maybe once every six times I try. otherwise it's just endless error messages or it says I'm not overseas even though I am. So the thought was nice but maybe they could work on a functional app before rolling it out.

AWFUL. Government at it's finest. Ha. We're living OCONUS, cannot get anything to work consistently. Always blurry. It kicks us out mid show, game, or news cycle. I asked my soldier how he didn't shoot the TV while in combat, it is ridiculous. He said it's worse there. Not surprised but They deserve best & the rest of us stuck having to use it to get any news from the states should get the next step down from that best. NOT THE WORST & STEP UP FROM WORST.

I have been trying to use this app on my phone and tablet for 2 weeks now overseas, and most of the time, I get "the provided MPEG-DASH document could not be loaded." Maybe they should have worked a deal with someone instead of coming out with their own app that only works 1% of the time.

Needs to authenticate every time I open the app on my Sony Bravia TV. When trying to stream AFN News there is a message that digital rights for this program are unavailable. No issues streaming the NFL games that were live broadcast on AFN Sports channels. Overall appears to be another amateur app made by amateur developers in the DoD

I can't log in. I hit the "Log In" button on the screen when the app opens then get redirected to a blank, black screen and either nothing happens or eventually I get a timeout error. FIX THIS!

The quality of this app is extremely poor. I get it, AFN doesn't have the resources like Microsoft or Google but this app looks and operates like it was created in a HS classroom as part of a computer coding class.
