UPDATE (2024-05-08): I am able to connect to Wi-Fi with the latest update. Upgrading rating to 3 stars. ORIGINAL (2024-01-08): Like nearly every other reviewer here, I have not been able to get this app to connect the speakers to my Wi-Fi network. Have repeatedly tried and and it continues to freeze when finding Wi-Fi network. Sometimes it doesn't even get to that step. I'm amazed that no one from Edifier is responding to any of these comments.

PLEASE READ! THIS WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF FRUSTRATION! The Android version of this app works fine connecting the S1000W speakers to WiFi. The MS50A speakers are a different story, however. The Android version of this app WILL NOT connect these speakers to WiFi. The Apple version of this app works great...so if you can't connect the MS50A's to WiFi, find someone with an Apple device. Good news is that after the initial connection is made, the speakers work flawlessly every time you turn them on!

Was only able to pair my S1000W speakers to wifi network after 7 attempts and using 2 different phones. This app supports Alexa but not Google Home. App frequently crashes. If this app supported Google Home, was more stable, and had a more simple wifi connection process I would rate this app at 5 stars. For a premium set of speakers, this app leaves much to be desired. The app is an important part of the speaker experience on this model, please update. Reviewed 1/6/24.

S1000W speaker Wi-Fi function and edifier App do not work together. The downloaded app and speakers are not connecting correctly to listen to music over WiFi. Use the optical cables between your devices for highest streaming sound quality these speakers are designed for

Doesn't work. The speakers (S1000W) are detected successfully, but they cannot connect to WiFi. I already sent an email with a video attachment to the developer but haven't got any response. A reason I bought these speakers was because of their WiFi support, so I hope the app gets fixed soon. Update: app still not working. No response from the developers, so I'm changing my review to one star.

It is completely worthless, just as the products to be used with the app. App freezes, and if you ever get it working, you need to almost literally put the speaker on top of your Accesspoint to get them connected. Because the app is not working and the speakers are not connecting anymore I'm left with expensive paper weights. I am a huge Edifier fan and have spent thousands of euros in speakers, but with my experience with the wireless speakers, it is done...

worst UI I've ever experienced. not only does it feel like a early 2000's app but the Edifier app blocks your music streaming services equalizer settings so you are stuck with full bass even if youre trying to listen quietly at night. oh and don't lock your phone screen you loose all volume control untill your app is reopened. great speaker. terrible UI
