Besides not being able to hit $100 after 20 trips, this app is causing serious charging issues. My phone either stays at the same battery level, or it drops significantly. The minute I turned the app off and closed it, my phone went to 100% with 0 issues. As far as the money, I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm making the lowest income since I started 7 years ago, it's ridiculous. Edit: the preferred driver is bs. Still can't make anything. Officially a scam. So much for 20k trips

Lyft make so many unnecessary changes like having to press "x" on many pop ups that you didn't have to before because it automatically went away. If you do it manually is more dangerous because you're driving and its annoying. But my rating went from 1 star to 2 stars just because they added the bathroom finder on the app which is a great ad on. Thank you

The app has system issues oftwn and says "no network" or "poor network connectivity" which delays the operation of the app especially when you're in the middle of a ride. There's been many issues with the accuracy of riders location using ping on the map, it's been inaccurate. Also, for our safety it would help to have legal name and photo of riders. Oftentimes, there's no pic of the rider, so we don't know who we are picking up.

More control over how you work and how you want to work. Lyft has much more information that is geared toward the driver than its competitor. Allowing the stay within the area feature is one of my favorites that they give to drivers. They also give a lot more information about the router and everything else. The bad: The maps here are terrible. They're not up to date fully and they don't sync up well with the gps, especially when in motion. I use google maps instead. I have to manually enter it

The "features" on the app has progressively gotten worse as they continue to "update" it. Restricting drivers to use the Lyft version of maps is horrendous. Telling us to make illegal turns, driving on restricted roads, and recently gave directions to a destination that would take over an hour more, rather than a more direct route, because it was 10 miles less. The passenger and I got a good laugh out of that, especially since time was a huge factor. Let us use Google again! In a 750k population

The built-in nav is crazy-slow &has caused many wrong turns & will be the cause of accidents, fatalities & other unnecessary traffic issues becasue it doesn't accurately tell you where you're going and, if it does, it's too late to get in the right lane. Therefore, you have to constantly look at &/or move the map to see the line/road where you're supposed to go. Also, it's almost completely manual /not autonomous at all & forces you to play with your phone while driving--- Not safe, duh.

If you want to make this app better, get rid of open maps and come up with a deal with Google/Waze for a back end, because open maps is pretty much trash. Also, if you're doing android auto things, instead of making it so I can tap on my car screen, make it so I can listen to Lyft directions on a Bluetooth earpiece, and have no audio except music coming from the speakers in my car via android auto. This would mostly make up for using a garbage map service. Streaks are gone too.

The application is experiencing frequent malfunctions. The maps are inaccurate more than 50% the time. It notifies you that you have arrived when, in reality, you still have approximately 50-100 ft of travel distance before your actual arrival. Currently, the application does not emit an audible alert when there is another pickup that you may select. It only flashes, so there is no sound except map direction and it alerts late. Also cannot choose options in the dashboard. Including chat support.
