It's a million times better than before. Canon plus gives you access to all of the books on audio and a lot of other resources if you want to, like me, take on Doug as a mentor for a season. The books all save in your library like they should, they save their place, you can increase and decrease speed, chapter skip etc.. Everything you could want from the library. I think it basically just as a mini browser that scrapes the website (without all the clunk, and tracking of a browser). Enjoy!

Sometimes my app shuts down as if there was an inactivity timer, forcing me to reload the app. I love the content this app offers, and would love to listen to my books continuously! I'd also love a queue function so I could have a series lined up and never have to open my phone at all! Thank you guys for this wonderful christian content. It has been instrumental for my wife and I.

I really enjoy the Canon app, and what I mean by that is the content. New content is regularly posted. I am really enjoying the Man Rampant series at the moment. The guys of Canon Press have quite a number of enemies around - you can browse the internet for that, but their position on so many pertinent issues of our day, are at its core, biblical, bold, and just beautiful. Thanks to you Canon Press. Oh yes, about the app - great format, and easy to use. Keep going, guys.

Perfect! The value of this app honestly makes me feel like it's too good to be true. You believe these are men on a mission behind the app, and with the constant upload of new resources, new audiobooks, new documentaries, and entertainment, this is quickly becoming my only app needed for subscription based programs. I am seriously on the verge of cancelling my audible, because for half the money it feels cannon's goal is to give me unlimited resources to live the life I am called to live!

Enjoying the app. I am (as of v. 1.4) still experiencing the problem with playback not resuming from the previous stop point on Android 11. 2/19/21: Still having problems with the audio resuming properly. Driving the boy to work, trying to scan to the timestamp in The Winter King where we last left off because it never keeps track of the last stopping point; almost hit a moose; okay, we're okay; have we heard this part before?

I landed on four stars- 5 stars for content, 3 for app performance. Averaged it out to four. Incredible value considering how many books I don't have to buy because I can listen to them right on the app. The kids books are excellent. Frustrating that the app doesn't always recall where I left off in any particular audiobook, though. Certainly not frustrating enough to stop using it, but needs improvement nonetheless.

If you are looking for a wide ranging audio resource for theology, history, and classical education you'll love this app! You will certainly find a good deal of deeply contravercial material with which you'll disagree, and that's part of the fun with exploring all these recordings. I am blind, and in both ministry and education, so I can't thank Canon Press enough for this! The app is so new that it's been a bit of a challenge to figure out at first, but it's easier than most.

The content is 5 star worthy. Very rich and exhaustive. My only critique is the inability to play the video content without leaving the video open. On long drives I'd like to hear the video content much like a podcast but would have to burn my screen for lengthy periods of time in order to just listen. Please allow for the video to play in the background or maybe make the audio versions of content available also.
