Whilst the app itself seems "fine", it's the content from the post, that is simply awful. Can see why it's no longer in print. Non-stories, shameless adverts and sloppy journalism. My main criticism of the app is that the regional selections don't seem to count for much. Select "Long Eaton" and you still get stuff for Sherwood.

I only use the app to find out what is happening at Nottingham Forest. It gets me through to the news that I want to read, so I am happy with it. HOWEVER, as of recent times, the stories are becoming tedious. Often they don't tally with the headlines and some of the stories are just run again and can be quite old.

I've tried to set notifications for this multiple times to exclude any football, but every other hour, it still comes up with something football related. I'm not into football and that's all the app is giving me! I have to load up the app to find the latest news, but even then the website is a lot easier to load on a laptop.. I just wanted to get notifications of any actual news other than football.

Deleted app. Full of ads, articles are very badly written and often sensationalised or not local (does nothing actually happen in Notts that's worth reporting on?) Also can't get rid of notifications about football (9/10 notifications often multiple per day), which is annoying because I don't want to know about it.

There is quite often after updates that this app develops faults this is now the 2nd or 3rd time that when u select to read reviews that they will not load the same has happened when selecting an article to read it sometimes ,it will not load and it would appear the app is now in need of yet another update to correct the error created by the last update I downloaded not inspiring is it .

Not a terrible app. Functional, mostly. Just wish there was a way to turn off push notifications about football - more than half the notifications this week have been about football. I don't care about football, but I want to keep the local news notifications.

Another update to my review. This has never been a great app, but it now seems worse. I scroll down, find an article I want to read, click in it, read it, then try to go back and it automatically scrolls right back to the tip, so you then need to scroll down again to get back to where you were, why? Do you test before you release?
