Voice Notify annoncerer statuslinjemeddelelser ved hjælp af tekst-til-tale (TTS), så du ikke behøver at se på skærmen for at vide, hvad en notifikation siger.FUNKTIONER:

KOM GODT I GANG:
Voice Notify fungerer gennem Androids Notification Listener-tjeneste og skal være aktiveret i indstillingerne for Notification Access.
En genvej til denne skærm findes øverst på hovedskærmen for Voice Notify.
Nogle enhedsmærker, såsom Xiaomi og Samsung blandt flere andre, har en ekstra tilladelse, der som standard forhindrer apps som Voice Notify i at starte automatisk eller køre i baggrunden.
Når Voice Notify åbnes på en kendt berørt enhed, og tjenesten ikke kører, vises en dialogboks med instruktioner og kan i nogle tilfælde åbne direkte på den relevante indstillingsskærm.
TILLADELSER:
• Send notifikationer - påkrævet for at sende testmeddelelsen. Dette er typisk den eneste tilladelse, som Android viser til brugeren.
• Forespørg efter alle pakker - påkrævet for at hente en liste over alle installerede apps til applisten og tillade indstillinger pr. app
• Bluetooth - Påkrævet for at registrere, om Bluetooth-headset er tilsluttet
• Vibrer - Påkrævet for testfunktion, mens enheden er i vibrationstilstand
• Rediger lydindstillinger - Påkrævet for forbedret detektering af kablede headset
• Læs telefontilstand - påkrævet for at afbryde TTS, hvis et telefonopkald bliver aktivt [Android 11 og derunder]
OM AUDIO STREAM INDSTILLING:
Opførsel af lydstreams kan variere afhængigt af enhed eller Android-version, så jeg anbefaler, at du laver din egen test for at afgøre, hvilken stream der passer til dig. Mediestrømmen (standard) burde være god for de fleste.

I've been using this for years. It just simply works and it works great. If it's not doing what you want you need to dig deep into the settings and make those changes. Apparently some people have issues and they have no idea that the settings are there to fix that for them. I just request one more setting that I could really use. I would like to have a setting where if a new notification comes in it waits until the last one is done playing then reach the next notification.

Thanks for the free app. I think I may have used an earlier version many yrs ago. Now to keep Voice Notify running, on some Androids 12 /13 there is this feature called DuraSpeed. You can't find it untill it pops up to tell you that it's throttling some apps down. Set an exception so that DuraSpeed leaves Voice Notify alone. Feature request: would it be possible to completely ignore notifications which are say 15 or 30 minutes old? Sometimes it gets into a loop and it drives me nuts;-)🙏

Repeats every message I get twice and before and after the messages announced that says messages working in the background. It needs to just read the message and that is it make it more simple for people to just turn it on and work it instead of having to do all of these modifications many people just don't want to take the time to do that they want to install an app and have it working.

It took me a while to find how to set it to play only when connected to Bluetooth. In the settings, scroll down to DEVICE STATES, uncheck HEADSET OFF and check HEADSET ON. It now reads notifications only when connected to my truck, or when I am using comms on my motorcycle helmet. It would be nice if you could have custom settings for each Bluetooth device. I wish you could reply via speech to text, but that is asking a lot. But, it is a very good, reliable app with a clear speaking voice.

It's a brilliant app. It has lots of customisation settings and has worked as expected for me. For instance, I've successfully set the app to ignore messages from certain WhatsApp group chats. I've used this app with a Galaxy S6, Pixel 2XL, Z2 Plus and Oneplus 6t. I've only used the app for Bluetooth purposes in two cars for handsfree alerts. It's worked dependably well in all situations. The only issue I have is that I cannot find a way (if there is a way) to stop the app reading the numbers of people who I already have in my contacts book. Other apps of this type have this function.

UPDATE: For my Xiaomi phone, I went to Settings->Apps->Permissions->Background Autostart, and Enabled it for Voice Notify. It seems to work fine now, all good 😊. The app works at first, but frequently (a few times per day) decides to stop working. I can get it to work again by going into Settings, removing the notification access permissions for the app, and then re-adding them. I am on a Xiaomi Note 10 Pro, running Android 13.

So far so good. Tried for about 4 days and it works to announce messages to my bluetooth earbud. Tried to fine tune the customizable TTS but still cannot announce in the sequence of "App name", "message from", "message content". I could not find manual or guide to explaine the full list of $ parameters usage. I couldn't find email address of developer to ask for help.

No notification sound needed. I hope everyone out there has as good a sense of humor as I have, but the best moments of this app must be when it reads erotic messages outloud, in public. I really love this app. It's convenient being hands free and this is a gasser when you change the voice to the English Uk. I literally laugh daily from this app. Thank you.
