Verizon users: Uninstall, reinstall, rate and then uninstall. I guess eveyone partnered with Verizon complained about users who had this downloaded nonconsensually to their devices (with their data, no doubt) and then review bombing in the Play Store. Well too bad TheDaily. This bloatware was added along with Monopoly and other trash as part of a "security" upgrade. Glad my video of my kid got cut short because of all the trash downloaded and sucking up memory/storage.

This app appeared on my phone after a special little update for security reasons. So like all trash and has been installed on my phone without me knowing. It is immediately flagged as malware a virus and has been quarantined and uninstalled. "The developer does not allow the user to delete its own data or downloaded" This literally means that they are stealing your data and selling it through third party actions. The Daily is a pirate site block them.

Uninstalled this app after it started loading noisy, minimum length ads when you click on story. I can tolerate quiet ads, but not noisy ones, especially noisy ones I can't turn off! Not cool. Dumb mistake for the developers to make, I think.

Uninstalled this app. Phone updated and downloaded this, don't know why Verizon keeps installing random apps or games. I got tired of the notifications board and whenever I unlock my phone it automatically shows thedaily home page when I didn't open the app. Wouldn't recommend.

If I could give a ZERO STAR rating I would. This app was installed on my $1,000+ S23 Ultra WITHOUT MY CONSENT!! Had I not accidentally found it, this ap would have remained on my phone transmitting private data about me to Third Parties. There needs to be a class action suit against Google and the company that owns TheDaily. This app was installed under the false claim of "security update" -- how is a left-leaning "news" app going to help my phone be more secure?? We need a law suit!!!

Never installed this app. It was automatically installed after an android update. Absolutely hate bloatware and secretly installed apps. I'd block the publisher if there were an option to do so.

Installed as part of a "security update" without my consent. Thus, this is malware or spyware. That makes Huub and/or Verizon amongst the scummiest of the scummiest. Exactly how are you different from the scammers and spyware manufacturers? Please show me the where I agreed to allow you to install malware on my phone?

Edit: This garbage app got reinstalled again without my knowledge or permission This piece of trash app got installed on my phone without my permission during a "security" update. Nobody wants this. edit: This garbage app installed itself again.
