Subpar app. I had to look through reviews here to find out that I had to create a new login for the system I've been using and monitoring on the desktop for over two years. Thanks for not communicating with your customers. Then I go through the trouble of installing the app and creating a new login, only to find that it can't communicate with my system. Wow. Really wish I could switch companies at this point, but we're stuck with you.

Ever since they rolled out this new application to replace the old one it has been a disaster. It has been buggy from the get-go, it would sporadically omit some of the data randomly, but at least you could see if your system was working. But for the last week and a half it has been total garbage. It won't show anything at all or sporadically show garbled numbers. I called tech support and was told that they had no clue about what was happening and couldn't tell me when it would be corrected.

While I prefer using the website to the app, the latter is certainly convenient and easy to use. Size limitations of the phone's screen reduce what you can see at a glance but, overall, you can get a good indication of how well your system is performing. The biggest drawback to both the app and the website comes when you try to contact Support...nobody responds. That's not a fault of the app, per se, but it means you're better off using the phone.

Unreliable app. Mostly, it doesn't load any data. Data is hours behind, although the system is connected to wifi. 02/13/2020: Finally, tech informed about Sim problem. 3G is no longer supported. Thus, they will replace the SIM within the box. But if you are connected via wifi, it should work. Update: they finally replaced the monitoring system, which was broken. The communications are restored, but now it doesn't show what the solar is producing, just shows the net.

Easy to use app, but would like to see more information about the performance of the individual panels. The service company I believe has excess to more data on their app. I know that more info can lead to more questions, but in the end it will help the customer to gain a realistic view of how well the equipment is working. That hopefully will lead to a happier client!

App started showing data again after a stretch of nothing after a +10 panel upgrade. Good, but missing data is still missing. Had to contact installer to get "per panel" tool turned on. They were super quick about it, but still strange it wasn't just on already. Beta testing I suppose. Can't adjust panel layout in app. Will try installer again to fix that. Improving, but overall some odd design/support choices. The panels themselves are awesome!

Not happy with the support I've received. Net usage never even close to utility's net usage. No real support from Sunpower on how we can determine if the app is wrong or my meter is. I was told it could be off by 5-10%, but some days it's off my 50-70%. Also, app has been non functional for a week now - not even giving me the "wrong" numbers. Just shows produced (no usage) . I'm going to have to buy a 3rd party monitoring tool so I can figure out who's data is wrong.

Revising. Things have improved so it's as functional - actually a tad more responsive - than the old Sunpower monitoring app. Nothing much new, but works a little better. My previous problems with it resulting in a one-star are resolved, so upgrading to 4. "Real time" info is still, usually, an hour or so behind, but sometimes catches up to as little as 15 minutes ago; that's an improvement over the old app.
